VICTORIA'S SECRET SHOPPING WITH TAYLOR HILL

So, being a Victoria's Secret Angel Card Ambassador definitely has its perks, like shopping with Taylor Hill to pick a few favorites from Victoria's Secret gorgeous new bra collection for example:) What do I love about this new collection so much? Well, a huge fan of lightly padded or unpadded bras in general, the new collection features the prettiest bralettes in every color and shape imaginable!

Another reason is that I always struggle to find bras that I can wear with barely there tops and dresses. And so normally, come summer time, I accumulate this monster of a strapless and backless bra collection, which for the most part, somehow never works perfectly! Well, I'm happy to say that I have finally found a solution. The new mix and match bralettes from Victoria's Secret are so pretty, that showing a bit of strap or neon lace actually adds that laid-back, nonchalant vibe to summer outfits! So of course, I love that!

P.S. Did you know that Angel Card holders get exclusive access? Cardholders get access to the world's sexiest brand, including invites to exclusive events! And you can get even more by earning 500 points and get upgraded to Angels VIP and earn 1000 points to become Forever Angel and get the best offers and exclusive gifts!

DENIM DAYS

I don't think any of us can talk about a complete summer wardrobe without mentioning a pair of cute denim shorts! Well, at least I can't! Truly, my summer must-have list consists of just a few items like a pair of cute flat sandals, woven tote, a pretty sundress and of course my number one can't-imagine-summer-without-them item - denim cut-offs! Comfy and versatile, denim shorts are something I can wear anywhere and with everything, and of course you know how much I love that!

More than the color, the fit or embelishment, what makes denim shorts truly special for me is the fit! Usually, I opt for low rise, loose fitting styles which work so well with everything from button-down blouses and off the shoulder tops to structured toppers like blazers and jackets.

This time around, my search for a perfect pair of denim shorts led me to ONE TEASPOON, available at Revolve& Shopbop, to discover what is probably my favorite denim line of all time. Love absolutely everything about ONE TEASPOON denim, from distressing to color selection and of course the fit!

What about you guys, what do you look for in a perfect pair of denim shorts?

FLORAL FIXATION

I suppose a better title for this post would have been Zimmermann fixation, but floral fixation had a better ring to it, and so I rolled with it! When it comes to favorite labels, my obsessions shift from season to season and though I certainly have a few go-to labels, for the most part, I like a bit of variety. Well, with the exception of Zimmermann that is because I cannot remember a Zimmermann collection I did not love!

Feminine, delicate and perfectly detailed, Zimmermann pieces are so out-of-this-world stunning, I honestly feel like a kid in a candy store every time I check out their new collection! This year is no exception of course, and my obsession du jour is the stunning floral number I'm wearing in today's post! This dress... OMG, I can't even tell you how much I love it! Everything about it is simply perfect! The print, the cut, the laced back and of course that little gold bauble trim is absolutely darling!

I've been obsessively wearing it everywhere and with everything ( btw, it looks super cute paired with denim sneakers )! So chances are, it's going to be a staple, so I hope you don't mind seeing quite a bit of it this Summer!:)

Avid explorers, I don't think there is anything Emil and I enjoy quite as much as our little road trips! For the most part, whenever we feel like hitting the road, we have a destination in mind, but every once in a while, we simply let the road decide for us. The latter is definitely a more adventurous option, yet so far, we haven't been disappointed and always ended up somewhere amazing!

This time around, the road took us to Laguna Beach. Sure, we've been to Laguna before, but for some reason we always ended up in the same places, so this time around, we vowed to ignore the familiar routs and went exploring instead! Well, our aim for adventure-packed trip paid off because we ended up discovering a new gem, i.e the cutest sea-side hotel I've ever seen! So pretty, it honestly looked like something off a postcard! Basically, our new favorite place and one of the best examples why we love these road trips so much!

Aside from great adventures and discoveries, another reason why I love these road trips so much is because we always aim to make them all about indulging in our favorite things like wining and dining, breakfasts in bed, sunset strolls and in my case, playing dress up and indulging in a few of my favorite beauty rituals. As much as I enjoy a bit of pampering, I don't always have the time to indulge in my favorite beauty rituals at home. And so, these road trips provide a perfect opportunity to wind down, paint my nails, use my favorite face and hair masks, or simply soak in a tub slowly sipping on champaign!:)

Speaking of beauty rituals and indulgences, though I don't necessarily have the time to indulge in every one of my favorite beauty rituals every day, the one indulgence I simply can't be without lately is my new body wash from Caress. What makes this one different from any other body wash I've ever used is the fragrance touch technology, which allows you to touch your skin up to 12 hours after showering to release fragrance. The body wash comes in 4 different fine fragrances: Mystique Forever, Love Forever, Adore Forever and Enchant Forever, which is my particular favorite. Something about this feminine, flirty, charming combination of honeysuckle and satinwood just makes my heart melt! I've always believed in the importance of fragrance, in fact in many ways I consider it one of my ultimate beauty must-haves. Unlike anything else really, the right fragrance speaks of who you are and what you like but also in many ways transforms how you feel, I know I certainly feel a little more special every time I use Enchant Forever!:)

What about you guys, have you tried the new Caress Forever Collection body washes? If you have, what's your favorite fragrance?

Good morning and happy Monday, Everyone! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few more images from our recent trip to Laguna Beach. As I have previously mentioned, though we've been to Laguna many times before, somehow we always ended up visiting the familiar spots, so this time around, Emil and I opted to do things a little differently and went exploring in stead! So, without further ado, here are a few of our new favorite spots and activities:)

Since I am a complete and total ice cream addict, whenever we go somewhere new, finding a cute ice cream shop is always right at the top of my to-do list:) Our newest Laguna Beach discovery is Chantilly Ice Cream Parlor! So, so many delicious flavors to choose from..., if you ever find ourself in Laguna, I seriously recommend trying it!

Though there are quite a few cute restaurants in Laguna, Alessa Laguna is definitely one of our current favorites! The food is absolutely amazing ( try the Superfood salad, the combination of quinoa, berries, almonds and fresh vegetables is just yummy ) not to mention the fact that the place is absolutely gorgeous! Basically, if you happen to be an instagram obsessed, can-never-resist-a-pretty-tile-moment addict like me, the place is pretty much a must!

Highlight of our trip, enjoying a glass of Rose while watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean at 180blu at Ritz Carlton Laguna Nigel! The panoramic views of the Pacific are absolutely breathtaking, so if you happen to be a hopeless romantic like me, I highly recommend it!

I love denim! I love denim for what it is and for what it does! I love denim for it's versatility but also for it's incredible ability to make you feel comfortable and stylish at the same time! When I think about wardrobe staples, nothing other than denim transitions from casual to dressy quite as effortlessly! Oh, and can you think of any other textile that works equally well for just about everything, from apparel and accessories to home accents and furniture ( I currently have my eye one the cutest denim armchair!) Take today's look for example, how cute is this cropped, patchwork denim bomber?! A huge fan of denim and bomber jackets in general, the beautiful embellishment and detailing takes this number to a whole new level! And don't even get me started on the bleached denim sneakers I'm sporting in today's post! So good with jeans and cut-offs, I love the way they pair with summer dresses to give them a bit of a casual, nonchalant vibe!

It's official, denim is definitely having a moment this year! And sure, because denim is such a closet staple it's always having a moment, yet what makes this year so different is the abundance of new styles and updated favorites to choose from! Cropped, fringed and flared, denim minis and maxis, slim-fitting befriend jeans and my beloved flares, this year, there is definitely no shortage of options in spring denim!

Personally, I love a good pair of flare jeans! This year especially, thanks to an updated lighter wash, high-wisted flare is my obsession du jour! Why do I love it so much? Well, mainly because I think high-wisted flare jeans are incredibly flattering. First, they make you look like you're 7 feet tall and have mile-long legs and second, they do a great job balancing the hips and accentuating the waist!

Another reason I'm loving flare jeans at the moment is because you can pair them with so many different top options. From tucked-in button downs and off the shoulder blouses, to cropped tops and boomer jackets, basically you can wear them anywhere and with pretty much everything! Of course you know how much I love versatility, so naturally, I'm obsessed!

OFF THE SHOULDER DRESS: DAY VS NIGHT

When it comes to travel, to say that Emil and I are spontaneous, is to say nothing at all! It's not that we dislike making plans in general, but with our schedule being as unpredictable as it is, it's hard to anticipate what tomorrow will bring, let alone plan something weeks in advance. So in our house, the trip planning process sounds a lot like this: "Hey babe, how would you feel about going to Santa Barbara tomorrow?" Well, babe feel really good about going to Santa Barbara on any day, which is what I would say right before I start frantically packing, trying to fit way too many shoes in what seems to be a tiny little carryall!

I'll be the first to admit that my packing for the weekend getaway game was not strong! I think that one of the biggest mistakes I've made in the past is bringing way more than I actually need ( 5 pairs of shoes for one weekend is going a little overboard, don't you think? ) and also not thinking enough about what we'll be doing ( like going our for dinner, biking, hiking or simply exploring ) so that I could pack appropriate outfits for every occasion.

But I must say that I've become much more of an efficient packer lately, and the answer was so simple, I honestly can't believe I didn't think of it before! Rather than bringing different pieces for every occasion, now, I opt to wear things I can restyle for day or night. Take last weekend for example, a few of our friends were heading to Santa Barbara and we decided to come along! Knowing full well, we'll be walking around, hitting the beach and dining out, I packed a cute off-the-shoulder denim number from Express, which I paired with cute flats, floppy hat and a cross body for day and dressed up for a girl's night out with some tasseled heels and a structured box bag. Since short and form-fitting is what I prefer for night-time outfits, I added a rope belt to give this outfit a more body-cosncious shape! Finishing touch, a few beaded bracelets which I wore for day and night! For day, I opted to wear bracelets on both arms, going for that cute, casual look, but for night, I really wanted to make them more of a statement pieces, so I simply layered them on one arm for a really rich, dramatic effect!

MY JEWELRY STACKS: DAY VS NIGHT

$

Since I'm a huge jewelry addict, a look feels incomplete to me unless I add a bit of sparkle. Well, a lot of sparkle actually, because layering and stacking is what it's all about! The more, the merrier - that's what I always say! I wear a lot of jewelry with all my looks, but the way I combine pieces differs depending on my outfit and occasion.  And so today, I've partnered with PANDORA Jewelry, one of my favorite jewelry brands, to talk to you a little bit about how I stack jewelry for three types of looks: dressy, business and casual.

For dressy looks, I tend to stick to a particular color combo and theme. Because this little white dress had a decidedly romantic look and feel, I opted to go with a very soft, romantic combination of hearts and bows in sterling silver and PANDORA Rose. Since I have multiple piercings, I am obsessed with wearing different earrings in the same ear. Today, I decided to go with cute bow and heart-shaped studs from the PANDORA Rose collection. I also love stacking multiple rings on the same finger. To continue with the theme, I layered a few different PANDORA Rose and sterling silver rings, making sure to mix different designs, colors, and shapes to create a very rich effect!

My go-to day-at-the-office ring stack tends to be simpler, but also a bit edgier. Recently, I've become obsessed with stacking PANDORA pavé style bands, playing with different colors, widths, and sizes. At the moment, I am completely in love with knuckle rings! Aside from the fact that they add a certain measure of edge to your stack, adding knuckle rings is probably one of the easiest ways to layer rings. To get the look, all you have to do is get a ring style you like a few sizes smaller than you normally wear, and voilà! Now any ring you like can be worn as a knuckle ring!

It's funny, but I actually tend to wear the most jewelry with my casual looks. I think it has to do with the fact that I prefer uber casual pieces, like denim cutoffs and simple, everyday blouses, and adding lots of jewels tends to be the easiest way to dress these looks up a bit. I am also a little less conscious about sticking to a particular color palette or theme. Instead, I like mixing quite a few different metals, shapes, sizes, and colors. I combined rings in 14K gold, PANDORA Rose and sterling silver, mixing hearts, bows, and pavé style bands, finishing the look with two different heart-shaped studs!

What about you guys? How do you like to stack your rings and earrings?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of PANDORA Jewelry and ShopStyle. All opinions and text are my own.

MY MORNING SKIN-CARE ROUTINE

$

When it comes to skincare, the two words I pretty much live by is maintenance and prevention. It's easier to take preamptive measures than try and a problem once it occurs, don't you think? I certainly have my share of regrets when it comes to taking care of my skin. I wish I started using SPF products earlier, I wish I ate a little better and drank more water in college, I wish I remembered to take my make up off every night, if I did, I would've had to deal with sun spots on my nose, enlarged pores and blackheads later. But of course there is really no point of harboring regrets. The best you can do is learn your lessons and try and do better in the future.

One of the most important lessons I've learned is that maintaining healthy skin and preventing future damage is really a combination of a few key elements. First and foremost it's proper diet, drinking plenty of water and being active! I know, I know, we hear about the importance of proper diet, exercise and hydration all the time! But, I can tell you from personal experience, when I eat well, and by well I mean eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, my skin looks a lot better! Secondly, it's really important to use the right beauty products on regular basis! Basically, morning and night, no exceptions!:) In the past, I've talked to you about my morning skin-care routine. But I've introduced a new product to my morning beauty ritual recently and wanted to talk to you a little about it.

Because I love to be outdoors so much, I have to be really diligent about using SPF products. But as good as I was about using SPF products when I planned to stay outdoors for a while, I never really realized that even a few minutes of sun-exposure or indirect sun exposure can do some serious damage! Take my morning coffee run for example, my morning doesn't start until I have a cup of coffee! Rather than making a cup at home, prefer to walk to a cute little coffee shop right around the corner from where I live. In the past, I've made a mistake of thinking I don't have to wear SPF because it's such a short walk! Well, an unprotected few minutes here and there can add up to a ton of sun exposure over time – lesson learned thanks to a few new sun spots on my nose!

Now, SPF is basically one of the most important aspects of my morning skin-care routine! The product I've started using recently is OLAY Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream with SPF 30. What I like about this one in particular is that aside from offering a really high level of sun protection, this lightweight moisturizer helps to hydrate and soften my skin and also helps to prevent any future damage like fine lines and wrinkles for example. Normally, I apply it to a freshly cleansed face just before I put my foundation on and reapply every two hours or so! The trick to reapplying without messing up your make up is by going with liquid foundation ( since powders tend to cake ) and simply layering it over foundation, spot correcting with a bit of concealer or BB cream!

VIVALUXURY x GOLD PHILOSOPHY

The first time I came across Gold Philosophy jewels was probably a little less than 2 years ago. It was late at night, and I was indulging in a bit of on-line shopping, otherwise known as retail therapy, after a very long and exhausting day. On that particular occasion, and though it's been a while I remember it quite vividly, I was on a quest to find a beautiful pair of pearl earrings I spotted in a magazine add somewhere. After searching for a while, I finally came across Gold Philosophy web page and there they were, starring right at me, even more beautiful and delicate than I remembered! As I started to browse the rest of the website, I kept finding more and more pieces I absolutely loved!

I think one of the main reasons why Gold Philosophy jewelry made such a striking impression on me is because I felt a deep connection to their modern meets edgy, and chic meets classic esthetic. You see, I've always felt that there is a certain duality when comes to my personal style. On one hand, I adore very elegant and feminine prices, yet I am equality attracted to bolder and slightly edgier silhouettes. Naturally, the idea of combining classically beautiful pearls with modern and innovative settings really resonated with me!

Today, I am exciting to announce that I am partnering with Gold Philosophy to curate a 10-piece collection featuring a few of my current favorites! Designed to be worn on their own or layered, I love how each  and every piece complements each other and just how bold and striking they are! Another reason why I love this collection is versatility! I know, I talk about it a lot, but when it comes to jewelry, I really appreciate pieces I can dress up or down and wear for day and night and these stunners look equality good with jeans and cocktails dresses! So I hope you enjoy!

ISABEL MARANT BLANKET COAT

The one month a year I get to complain about LA weather is finally upon us! Well technically speaking, I should never complain about the weather in LA, but after a relatively warm April, going back to wearing jackets and jeans in May feels a bit strange! And the funny thing is that though it happens every year, somehow I am always surprised. Usually, I store my winter/fall pieces right after I come back from Paris Fashion Week in February, settle quite comfortably into my spring/summer wardrobe and decide that we'll be basking in warmth and sunshine until roughly early November ( definitely wishful thinking on my part ). And than "June Gloom" happens, or in this case "May Meh" which is a nickname Emil and I came up with for the rainy, gloomy weather we've been enjoying lately!

Yet, despite the fact that I definitely miss the warmth and the sunshine, busting out my favorite Isabel Marant blanket coat does a wonderful job chasing away the blues! I got it right before Paris Fashion Week and haven't really had the chance to wear it as much as I would like, so I'm definitely happy I get to wear it some more this year.:) So, I hope you don't mid seeing a bit more of it in the next few weeks!:)

Isn't it great when you get to wear all your current favorites at once? I know I certainly love it, and the look I'm sporting in today's post just happens to be a great example of that! I am downright obsessed with each individual piece, but being able to wear them together... well, that's even better!

Though I am still having a bit of a tough time letting go of my skinny jeans, I have to admit, I am definitely starting to get on board with the new flared cropped styles we're seeing so much at the moment! For one thing, the silhouette is incredibly flattering but also, I love the way it pairs with this season's must have sandals like block heel or platform espadrilles for example. It also goes well with pretty much any top style imaginable, from flowy blouses, and crop tops to structured, tailored numbers, and of course you know how much I love options:)

Good morning and happy almost weekend, everyone! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few of my newest obsessions and favorites! Though normally, I lot of my outfits begin with accessories ( Seriously, I style my looks around shoes and bags ), this particular outfit started with a cute Jonathan Simkhai top I found at Intermix recently. A huge fan of pastel-colored, flowy tops in general, I suppose it's not really that surprising that I found a combination of pretty pink, grid pattern and lovely embroidery particularly appealing! So good with pretty much any denim bottoms imaginable, from jeans to shorts and little mini denim skirts, I also love the way it pairs with tailored bottoms, like skinny dress pants for example. For today's look, I went for a sort of city-casual feel, so I paired it with skinny jeans, platform espadrilles, a structured bag, and a few layered jewels. Yet, it looked just as cute paired with a beach tote and sneakers when Emil and I spent a day in Malibu recently. BTW, that look is coming up next week, so stay tuned!:)

SUMMER SUIT

When I think about my personal style, the word balance always comes to mind first. As far as outfits are concerned, I definitely prefer very clean, polished looks. What do I mean by polish? Well, to me, polish is a combination of fit, feel and overall appearance. I stay away from wearing anything that doesn't feel good on, pieces that I have to constantly adjust or things that have hanger appeal, but don't really wear well because they wrinkle as soon as you put them on. Actually, wrinkles happen to be a particular pet peeve of mine, because no matter how beautiful something is, if it's wrinkled, it just looks messy and disheveled. I suppose you can call me a perfectionist:)

Yet, with the exception of extremely dressy, night-time outfits, the overall look I generally go for is definitely much less precise and not too perfect, which is why I like to balance my neat outfits with undone, slightly messy hair and minimal make up. I don't know why really, but this combination always feels like me the most. Perhaps it's the fact that I can never get my fine hair to look absolutely perfect or maybe it's because I don't have the patience to spend a lot of time doing my make up, or maybe it's the combination of both. But whatever the reason may be, since this combination is definitely what makes me feel comfortable and being comfortable and looking pulled-together are essentially synonymous to me, it is this feeling that I always look for when I style a look.

What about you guys, what style makes you feel like you the most?

Back in my favorite color, i.e. blue! Sometimes, I feel like perhaps I wear it too much, but for some inexplicable reason, I am unconsciously drawn to this color and simply cannot resist adding more amazing blue pieces to my wardrobe. The little suede skirt you've seen before, but the denim cami I'm sporting in today's look, is new and already well on it's way to becoming an all time favorite!
