Good morning, Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your week! I came back to LA from Miami, only to find that Summer is in full swing here. So, I guess no more coats and boots for now:) Not that I'm complaining, I'll take all the sun I can get!

I don't normally wear my hair up, but something about an off the shoulder top makes you pull the hair off your face:) So, I attempted to rock a top bun... The key word being attempted because it took me 40 minutes to do and quite honestly it was still very far away from perfect:) Hopefully I will get better with practice! What do you guys think of this hair style, yay or nay?

Hello, Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your Saturday!

As I mentioned before, we've been enjoying super warm weather in LA, and since I am more of a sunshine and warm weather kind of person anyway, I've been more than happy to break out my Spring/Summer wardrobe a bit early:) Case in point, today's super cute soft pink linen suit. A huge fan of pastels and especially pink, I am particularly attracted the slightly loose structure of the blazer and shorts. Another reason why I love it so much is because it's definitely one of those suits you can dress up or down, depending on the occasion. Today, I paired it with a floral print crop top and metallic lace-up heels, but I think it could work just as well with some cute oxfords and an oversized tote. What do you guys think? How would you wear this suit?

P.S. You can check out more collections of favorite suits, crop tops and jewelry and follow me on eBay here.

That is of course until I spotted this one on my last trip to Nordstrom Rack. Love the color and size, and considering it was 70% off retail price, I definitely had one of those "Yay!" moments:)

Now, here comes the best part! Next time you spot an amazing find at your local Nordstrom Rack store and have your own "Yay!" moment, share it on Instagram using hashtag #ShopGenius for a chance to be featured on @NordstromRack Instagram account.

Bioré Self Heating One Minute mask& Deep Pore Charcoal cleanser

Good morning, Everyone! How is your week going so far?

Since I've gotten quite a few emails asking what type of skin care products I normally use, I wanted to take this opportunity to talk a bit about 2 of my current favorites.

I am sure I've mentioned before that I don't like wearing foundation and since I am pretty much walking bare face most of the time, great skin care products are simply a must! For the most part I have normal skin, with the exception of my t-zone, which tends to get a bit oily. Thought a little oil on our face is actually a good thing, I have to take really good care of my t-zone so that I don't get clogged pores. Of course my problem as of lately is that with my schedule being completely nuts, I haven't really had the time to just unwind and do something nice for my skin:) So, when Bioré reached out and suggested I take a moment to #BlackOutWithBiore, I though this was the perfect opportunity to take a break from social media, kick back, indulge in a little pampering and take a day all to myself:) During my black out, I got a chance to try the Bioré Self Heating One Minute mask& Deep Pore Charcoal cleanser. I started by washing my face with the cleanser, which left my skin feeling clean but not at all dry, like a few other deep cleansers I've tried. Next, while my face was still wet I applied the heating mask, wetting my fingers a bit to help activate the warming action even further. After about a minute, I washed the mask off with warm water. My face felt really clean and as I mentioned before, even though my skin can be sensitive to deep cleansing products, I didn't experience any redness or dryness.

Later on, as Emil and I set on the couch, drinking mint tea, watching silly movies and chatting, I kept thinking about how hectic our lives get... With so many places to go and things to do, I think we forget to take a break, enjoy the simple things. Well, no more! From now on, I will make sure to always find the time to enjoy life's little pleasures!

Good morning, Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend!

If you read my blog on regular basis, I am sure you are well aware of my obsession with shoes and I think, I've also mentioned before that one of my biggest dreams is to some day design a shoe collection of my own. So, you can imagine my excitement when I was approached by Shoes Of Prey, a website that allows you to design your own custom shoes, to create my very own design!

I have to admit that the design process was completely addictive, with so many shoe shapes, leathers, fabrics and colors to choose from, I spent countless hours playing around the 3D Designer.

I started by selecting the shape of the shoe (you can choose between ballet flats, stilettos, sandals, oxfords and wedges). Since I am completely addicted to high heels, for me it was between stilettos and high heel sandals. And with Summer right around the corner, I figured a cute pair of strappy sandals is just what the doctor ordered:)

Once I selected the shape of my shoes, I started playing with leathers, fabrics and colors (170 in total to choose from). As you know, I absolutely love bright colors and color blocking in particular. So, after playing around with a few different color options, I decided to go with a beautiful cobalt blue. Since I wanted the blue to be the focal point of this design, instead of adding another bright color, I chose to pair it with black and white. I also wanted to play around with a few different textures, which is why I opted to combine leather, suede and fish skin together. I think this combination adds richness and depth to the design. What do you guys think?

The best part of this whole experience, aside from the design process of course, was opening the box and finally seeing my design come to life! I am so happy with the way they turned out. Fun, bright and comfy, they are exactly what I had had in mind for Summer. So, I suppose I should warn you in advance, you are definitely going to be seeing quite a bit of them on this blog! Hope you don't mind!:)

P.S. If you are just as obsessed with shoes as I am and/or have a soft spot for custom made heels, head over to shoesofprey.com to design your perfect pair!

Morning, Everyone! How is your week going so far?

Emil and I had one of those super crazy days yesterday which started at the break of dawn and ended with a super late dinner. Knowing I will not have time to go home and change, I wanted to wear something that could take me from day to night. So, I opted for a pair of high waisted pants, cropped top and high heels, i.e. my favorite dressed up comfortable combination:) But because the late dinner was going to be somewhat of a formal event, I added a clutch and an ear cuff just to dress this look up a bit.

By the way, I am really excited about cropped tops making a comeback this season. How about you guys? Reason why I like this particular crop top so much, is because it's so versatile. Though I do like the tight-fitting ones as well, I think they mostly require something with a bit of volume on the bottom. But a looser-fitting top like the one I am wearing, can be paired with just about anything, from skinny jeans to slouchy trousers. What do you think? What is your favorite way of wearing cropped tops?

Good morning and happy almost weekend, Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful week!

Guess you got a little preview of this outfit from an accessories post I did last Sunday (see here), though it did undergo a few minor changes. In the morning, Emil and I decided to grab some breakfast at one of our favorite places in West Hollywood and since I felt like dressing up a little, I opted to wear high heels and a white button-down. After breakfast, we went for what was supposed to be a casual stroll around Robertson Ave, which of course turned into a bit of a shopping thing. I was super happy about that, Emil probably not so much:) We ended up getting a few very cute things, my absolute favorites being Tory Burch sneakers and Sam & Lavi perforated tee. Now, you know how I feel about cute new things i.e. I simply can't resist the urge to wear everything new right away! So, when Emil suggested we catch the new Jackson Pollock exhibition at the Getty Center, I figured this was the perfect opportunity to swap my heels for some comfy sneakers and give my tired feet a bit of a break:) What do you guys think, do you like this outfit better with sneakers or with heels?

Today, I paired them with a bright red glossy tweed dress but I think this particular shade of blush works beautifully with pretty much any color. What do you guys think? Good morning, Everyone! Hope you had an amazing weekend!

Emil and I had a wonderful weekend mainly because we finally got a chance to catch up with our friends but also due to a very fortunate trip to a Dior store on Saturday. You see, I've been obsessing over the Mise en Dior earrings ever since I spotted them in Vogue magazine a few months ago. Of course they were sold out everywhere, so I pretty much gave up all hope on ever getting my hands on them. So, when I walked in Dior store this Saturday and asked about the earrings, I was pretty sure there weren't any left. Well, let me tell you, I was never so happy to be wrong:) because after looking for what seemed like eternity they managed to find the very last pair! I am not sure I can describe just how happy I was, but let's just say there was jumping and screaming involved:) I am never taking them off, so I suppose you are going to be seeing quite a bit of them on this blog:) Hope you don't mind!

Good morning, Everyone! How is your week going so far?

Emil and I shot these pics on Friday last week. We woke up to one of those particularly rainy and gloomy days and decided to combat the blues by hitting a few of our favorite places around LA. So, we headed to West Hollywood, for some shopping and dining. First, we took a walk on Melrose Ave, stopping by Isabel Marant and Diesel stores, then we popped in our favorite flower shop to get some pretty flowers for the house. I've been a little daisy crazy lately:), so I simply couldn't resist getting a bright bouquet. Finally, we had a cozy little dinner at Eveleigh on Sunset. I raved about Eveleigh on this blog before, but it's just been one of those special places for us. The food is always amazing (I particularly recommend trying the cheese board and potatas bravas) and the rustic decor is so warm and inviting. We ended up having such a great time, we completely forgot about the gloomy weather:) So, overall our plan was a huge success! How about you guys, what do you do to chase away the blues?

Good morning, Everyone! How is your weekend going so far?

Emil and I came back from Las Vegas yesterday, unpacked and repacked our bags in exactly 30 minutes and now, we are heading to Coachella. I am hoping I'll be able to post our Palm Springs/Coachella adventures sometime next week, but for now, you can check out my Instagram at @VivaLuxuryBlog  for current updates:)

Emil and I shot these pics on a particularly sunny day last week. Don't really know what it is about sunny days that brings our my inner dress-fanatic, but I just can't resist the urge to wear a pretty dress once the weather gets warm:) The one I am wearing in this post, is definitely my new favorite. So pretty and feminine, I love absolutely everything about it, from lace color blocking to sheer inserts. I also like the fact that it's one of those pieces I can style up or down. Today, I paired it with studded high-heel sandals and a structured bag, but I also think it would look great with espadrilles and an oversized tote. What do you guys think, would you style it up or down?

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

So excited I finally get to share pictures from our recent trip to Las Vegas! Funny, Emil and I've been to Vegas so many times, but somehow we always find something new to see and do... As always, we've shot a ton of images, too many to post on this blog. So, I chose just a few of my favorites, like the waterfall outside of Aria, floral carousel at Wynn and St. Mark's square at Venetian just to name a few, so I hope you enjoy them.

This trip was completely impromptu, so we did most of our packing in about 20 minutes. Naturally, I managed to pack a suit case full of clothing ( and ended up wearing probably about 1/3 ), Emil however went on a 3-day Vegas trip with a pair of jeans and a shirt:) Yeah! I kid you not! So, once we got to Vegas we had to buy a few things for him:) Initially, we were shopping just for him, but as it happens very often, I can't seem to go to Nordstrom without finding something I love:) Case in point, the Michele watch I am sporting in this post. So elegant and feminine, I just love the mother-of-pearl dial and the changeable strap. I decided to go with a patent leather one, but I am thinking of getting the double wrap strap in the future as well. Perhaps, I'll get it next time we are shopping for Emil:)

GETTING THE GLOW WITH #JERGENSNATURALGLOW

Jergens Natural Glow daily facial moisturizer with SPF 20 in Fair to Medium Skintones

Good morning, Everyone! Are you enjoying your week so far?

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed I've been using Jergens Natural Glow daily facial moisturizer for the past 5 days and publishing daily updates of my progress. So, today I would like to share the complete set of before and after pictures and also talk about my experience with this product.

But before I talk about my experience, I think it's probably pertinent to say a few words about Jergens Natural Glow daily facial moisturizer. Applied daily, this moisturizer not only softens the skin but overtime helps to build natural looking color, evens out skin tone and provides sun protection with SPF 20.

I've been a big fan of Jergens products ever since I started using them in college and Jergens Natural Glow line is one of my current favorites. Because I have combination skin, finding a moisturizer that will soften my skin yet won't make my t-zone oily, is not always easy. But Jergens Natural Glow daily facial moisturizer is light and oil free, so my skin feels softer and smoother without looking greasy. I started noticing a subtly change in color on day 1, and by day 3, I had majorly glowing, bronzed skin. YAY!:) I also have to say that it makes my skin tone a lot more even, and since I don't like wearing foundation, a product that can help me avoid it, especially in the warmer months, is definitely very much appreciated:)

What about you guys? Have you used Jergens products before?

Good morning, Everyone! Hope you're enjoying your week!

Wanted to take this opportunity to share part two of our adventures in Las Vegas. Emil and I sort of developed a routine when we come to Vegas, we get up pretty early, grab some breakfast and spend the day walking around, hitting as many of our favorites as we possibly can. On this particular day we started at Aria, and went straight to Jean Philippe Patisserie because someone (I won't tell you who, but I'm sure you'll guess anyway) has a weakness for gelato:) Next, we headed to Bellagio, because no trip to Vegas can be complete without seeing the beautiful botanical gardens and of course the fountain show. We've seen the show a few times, but somehow it never fails to amaze us in a completely new way. We spend the rest of the day exploring the strip, grabbing some dinner at Wynn and also catching the Le Reve show for the very first time, which, by the way was absolutely out-of-this-world amazing! How about you guys, what are your favorite places to visit in Las Vegas?

Clearly my obsession with dresses continues, and this glossy tweed number is my latest favorite:) Aside from having a bit of a weakness for red in general, lately, I can't get enough of the fit and flare silhouette. The main reason of course is that it pairs beautifully with just about anything, from heels to flats and blazers to leather jackets (one of my favorite combinations), but also because there is something so feminine and elegant about this particular shape. What about you, how do you feel about fit and flare dresses?

Emil and I ended up having one of those super unproductive yet altogether enjoyable weekends:) On Friday, we had a massive list of things we fully intended to do, but after getting up kind of late on Saturday, having a massive breakfast followed by a marathon of Game of Thrones, we gave up and then gave in, ordered some Italian food and finished watching the entered 3rd season. Got to indulge sometime, no? :) Of course, around 4 on Sunday, we realized that we spent 1.5 days in our pj's, and decided to go out for dinner. Yeah, Game of Thrones is definitely that addicting:)! Feeling a little guilty about the pajama situation, I dressed up a bit more than I normally would for dinner. So, I went  with a super girly lace skirt, a cute crop top and a pair of high heels. What about you guys, what do you like to do on those super lazy days?

Good morning and happy almost weekend, Everyone!

I wanted to take this opportunity to share a few pics of one of my new favorites, i.e. the super cute and comfy IRO sandals I got last week. I've been searching for a pair of casual sandals for a while now. You see, I was looking for something to pair with denim shorts, distressed jeans and flowy sundresses but since I don't wear flats that much, I wanted a bit of a heel or wedge. Sounds simple enough, right? Yet, it definitely took me a while to find these, since most high heels and wedges I came across had a decidedly dressier look than what I had in mind. So, when I spotted these babies, I knew in an instant I finally found exactly what I was looking for. A hybrid between booties and sandals, minimalistic yet detailed enough to make them visually interesting, I pretty much love everything about them! So, I hope you like them because I have a feeling you are gong to be seeing quite a bit of them on this blog:)

Good morning, Everyone! Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

I can't really figure out what's been happening with LA weather lately, seems like it's blazing hot one day and freezing cold the next. Cold and windy, that is... And not the good kind of windy either, but the kind of windy that makes you engage in epic battles with your hair in an attempt to prevent it from looking like a bird's nest! And my baby hair, which is not at all a complement, but rather the term my hair dresser uses to describe my super fine, completely unruly hair that refuses to behave even after a few coats of super strong hair spray, has been misbehaving majorly lately. Which brings me to my question, I have tried a few hair sprays and none of them seem to keep my hair in place. Have you guys found a hair spray that really works? Really appreciate your advice on this one!
