Good morning, Everyone! Just wanted to say a quick hello a share a few images from my first day at NYFW. Emil and I arrived super late on Wednesday, and slept for about 2 hours before the first show. Hence the super big sunglasses:) They definitely did a fantastic job hiding my lack of sleep! But of course it's hard to sleep in New York because the city is simply so intoxicating, I think you just can't help but fall victim to it's infectious energy...

I also wanted to take this opportunity to share a few favorites from a super fun Sunglass Hut "Ditch The Typical Gift V-Day" event, I had the pleasure of co-hosting last night. Since Emil and I are going to be spending Valentine's Day on a plane heading back to LA, it was nice to celebrate V-Day a bit early... Cocktails, sweets and killer shades, what can I say, this is definitely my idea of a perfect V-Day celebration:) !

Good morning, Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Emil snapped these pics at Hudson hotel, our home away from hope for the duration of fashion week, right before we headed out to BCBG after party. You know how I feel about suits in general but the one I'm wearing in this post is definitely my favorite at the moment! I went kinda nuts when I spotted it a few weeks ago, and I am not sure how, but I did manage to resist the urge to wear it right away... Sort of a proud moment for me:) Of course, pairing it with these fairly open Valentino pumps was probably not the most practical decision, especially in the super cold New York weather... But I prefer to wear cropped pants with pumps, as apposed to boots for example, so practical or functional had to take a back seat to what I felt looked the best:)

I think I mentioned before that this year Emil and I will be spending Valentine's Day on the plane, heading back to LA. And since a 5-hour plane ride, on top of packing and dealing with all the travel nonsense doesn't exactly scream romance, we decided to exchange gifts and celebrate V-Day a bit early. Btw, the sunnies I am sporting in today's look are my Valentine's Day present from Emil and taking into consideration my obsession with sunglasses, Emil definitely scored double points for creativity and knowing exactly what I like. Of course, the fact that I was drooling over them on our recent trip to Sunglass Hut probably made it a bit easier for him:) Don't get me wrong, I love flowers and candy, but in my opinion a pair of fabulous shades makes a much more stylish and practical gift:)

Since we don't get that many chances to celebrate Valentine's Day in New York, we decided to skip the dinner and movie route and instead spend the day exploring the city. We ended up taking a nice long stroll around Central Park, hitting a few of our favorite book stores and coffee shops and doing a little shopping of 5th avenue.

I am definitely glad I opted to wear pants and sweater instead of a dress... I figured, since we decided to keep our Valentines Day adventures fairly unconventional, cute sweater and wide-legged pants in Valentine's Day signature color could look just as romantic as a dress, but would be much more practical considering the weather:)!

How about you guys, what are you doing for Valentine's Day?

Good morning, Everyone! So excited to share what I wore to Nanette Lepore Fall 2014, as well as a few pics of my favorite looks and fabulous backstage craziness. For my look, I chose a black dress with leather details and side pockets, and a super soft caramel-colored coat. I think what I like about this coat the most, aside from the leather details of course, is the fact that it's so versatile. And you know how I feel about pieces that look equally great with dresses and blue jeans... Basically, it was love at first sight!:)

Good morning, Everyone! So, I got back to LA on Saturday only to start packing for a few trips coming up in the next month or so. Can't tell you what they are yet, but you will find out pretty soon!:) Since the trip back from New York was kind of problematic, mainly due to bad weather and flight cancelations, Emil and I decided to take two whole days to recuperate. Meaning, we did 4 hour brunches, dinners with friends, a little shopping and a whole lot of sleeping:) Ah sometimes, it's good to be home... And while I'm still in LA, I am determined to take full advantage of the warm and sunny weather by getting back to my beloved uniform, i.e. flowy tops and jeans. The particular top I am wearing in today's post is new and definitely one of my current obsessions. I just can't get over the detailing on the front and of course those amazing sleeves! I already have a million combinations with this blouse in mind, so I have a feeling you are going to be seeing this one agin and again!

Good morning, Everyone! Hope your week is going great so far!

As I mentioned before, Emil and I have a few trips coming up in the next month, so while we are still in LA, we are taking full advantage of the sunny and warm weather. And of course for me, it means wearing as many dresses as humanly possible:) This particularly stunning one from Kenzo actually accompanied me to Fashion Week, but New York was simply too cold to wear it. So, naturally once I got back to LA, it was pretty much one of the first things I wore:) And given just how much I love it, I have a feeling you'll be seeing this dress again and again... Hope you don't mind:)

Good morning and weekend, Everyone! Emil and I had one of those super crazy days yesterday. A bunch of meetings during the day, 2 photoshoots and a late dinner. So, I figured this was a perfect opportunity to pull out my new crochet skirt. I got it before New York and it's been really tough knowing it'll be at least 2 weeks before I get to wear it. You know how I get with cute new things:) Seriously, I had a crazy idea of taking it to New York with me, but decided that there was no way I can pull off crochet in 20 degree weather:)

Reason why I love this skirt so much, is because it really is one of those versatile pieces I'm always gushing about. Yesterday, I paired with a belted blazer, but I think It would look equally great with an embellished sweatshirt or a nice button-down tied at the waist, for a more casual look. What do you guys think? How would you wear it?

Good morning, Everyone! Wanted to take this opportunity to show off my recent find. I spotted this amazing Milly skirt in a store recently, and simply couldn't resist. Can't really decide what exactly I love most about, the volume, the print or the color combination... Of course it could also be that it's one of those amazing twirl-your-heart-out, great-day-guaranteed pieces, I love so much. And let me tell you, twirl I did, and possibly smiled a little more than I should. But then again, it's pretty much impossible not to when I wear this skirt:)

Good morning and happy Thursday, Everyone! How was your week so far?

As you can tell, I am back to wearing my favorite color palette. Not really sure why, but something about warm weather and sunshine brings out my inner pastel fanatic:) But my weakness for soft colors aside, today's look is all about current favorites. For the past few weeks, I've been searching for a perfect light-colored topper, so when I spotted this cute number from Ann Taylor A-List collection, I knew I finally found it. I just love the super easy silhouette, combination of cream and caramel and of course the leather trim. For today's look, I paired it with a jewel-collared shirt in baby blue and a matching cross-body bag, also from the A-List collection, which is now available on-line and in stores. So, check it out when you get the chance. To complete this outfit, I added a few gold bracelets and rings, mainly because I just can't resist pairing creams, blues and gold but also because I feel like every look can use a little sparkle:) What do you guys think?

Good morning, Everyone. Hope you're enjoying your weekend! Don't really know what it is, but lately all I feel like wearing is color and today's outfit is no exception. I got these fun Elie Tahari pants in New York and they quickly became one of my favorite pairs. I obviously love the color, no big surprise there, considering my track record with pink, check out a few favorite pink looks here, here& here:) But mostly, I think it's the relaxed silhouette in combination with sleek fabric, that makes me want to wear them again and again!

Good morning, all! Hope your week is going great! Emil and I are spending a few days in San Francisco, so I wanted to take this opportunity to share a few pics we shot yesterday! Can't tell you how excited I am to finally visit this beautiful city! We've been planning a trip to San Francisco for as long as I can remember, but for some inexplicable reason something always came up last minute and we never ended up taking it. So, you can imagine how I feel now that we are finally here! Since it's our first time in SF and because we are only here for 3 days, I would really appreciate your advice about must-see places. We are definitely going to visit the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard street and the Alcatraz island but perhaps you guys can recommend other less-known destinations? Thank you in advance for your advice!

Hello Everyone and happy almost weekend! First, I would like to thank everyone for your super helpful suggestions about what to see in San Francisco! You guys are the best, seriously! Emil and I spent the whole day exploring the city, and I have to admin that SF is now our new favorite place in the entire universe:) Since 3 days is nearly not enough to enjoy everything SF has to offer, we are already planning our next visit, so that we can see all the wonderful places you suggested properly:)

Now, about the hiking in heels situation I've got going on here, when I was packing for this trip, I decided to take just one pair of flats, which I conveniently left at home. So once we got to SF, I realized that all I had with me were heels and a pair of flip flops. Don't really know where my head was, but most likely I was simply delusional from all the excitement:) Since flip flops clearly did not work with this outfit:), I decided to go for the most comfy pair of heels I had with me. Not really sure if Valentino had hiking in mind when creating rockstud pumps, but I got to say they definitely passed the test, and after running around all day long, my feet were still intact:)

I've been looking for a pastel-colored cross-body for a while now and once I spotted this amazing Jimmy Choo one, I knew my search was finally over. Good morning and happy Monday, Everyone! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Back in November Emil and I went behind the scenes of EXPRESS SS 2014 campaign shoot, and I can't tell you how excited I am to finally be able to share it with you! The shoot took place at the stunning Sheats Goldstein Residence. I've been a big fan of Organic Architecture for as long as I can remember and after taking a tour of the house, given to us by the ever-so-charismatic James Goldstein, I can certainly appreciate why the house is the finest example of complete unity between nature and architecture.

After the taking the tour of the house, I had an opportunity to view the new collection and even style a few of my favorite pieces. As I am sure you already know, I have a soft spot for dresses in general, but what attracted me the most to the black and white polka dot number I'm wearing in this post, is the soft and feminine silhouette combined with an incredibly elegant side bow. You know me, details are everything! I took a more casual approach with my second look, and paired a gorgeous lace bomber jacket with a cropped top and boyfriend jeans. I love how these pieces work together, but because they are so versatile I think they can be styled in an infinite number of ways. I could just see that lace bomber paired with a cute sundress or a pair of denim cut-offs.

I also had a chance to chat with Magdalena Frackowiak, as she was getting her hair and make up done for the shoot. As we talked about the collection, she described it as "bohemian and easy going, full of colors and patters". We also talked about our favorite pieces and must have items and coincidentally her favorite was the black and white dress I am wearing in this post. In terms of must-haves she chose "the black suede fringe bag is a must because you can wear it with anything from jeans to dresses", and quite honestly I couldn't agree more.

I can't even begin describing what an amazing experience it was, and I sincerely hope you enjoyed going behind the scenes with me. If you would like to see more, you can CLICK HERE to view the entire campaign.

I also have a little surprise for you:) I'll be attending EXPRESS Runway Show on Thursday March 13th at the Raleigh Hotel on 1775 Collins Ave, South Beach in Miami, FL and you are invited! It's going to be absolutely amazing, so I really hope you can join me!

EXPRESS soft bomber jacket in Mink, textured metallic shorts, V-Neck racerback cami, stud and sequin embellished clutch, purple lens aviator sunglasses, rhinestone embellished enamel bracelet, pave link bracelet& stackable rhinestone ring set

Good morning, Everyone! I hope your week is going great so far!

As I have mentioned before, last Thursday I was fortunate enough to attend EXPRESS fashion show in South Beach, Miami. The event took place at the historic Raleigh Hotel and was hosted by the gorgeous Kate Upton, who was super sweet and even more stunning in person! Trying to decide which was my favorite part of the show as I was writing this post, was definitely not easy:) The music, the warm Miami weather or maybe the gorgeous models walking on water (the runway was floating over the pool) wearing amazing looks from EXPRESS Summer 2014 collection... Of course it's entirely possibly it was the combination of all those elements that made this event so unforgettable! I seriously wish I could share all the images we shot but I'm afraid I would run out of space on this blog:) So, I hope you'll enjoy looking through my absolute favorites, like the beyond gorgeous white one-piece Magdalena Frackowiak wore on the runway, my girl Sydne Summer and I hanging out at SLS Hyde Beach just before the EXPRESS show and catching up with the sweetest Daniela Ramirez from Nanys Klozet, whom I met in San Francisco recently and immediately felt like we have known each for years!

I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for coming, I had such a great time meeting you all in person! And for those of you who couldn't make it to the show, you can CLICK HERE to view more images, go behind the scenes and also shop your favorite looks from the Runway Collection. And if you don't see all of your favorites right away, just check back as new looks will be added every week.
