A fun little make up idea to try for spring is lavender eyes! Rather simple to execute, it creates a big impact because lavender is such a beautiful, striking shade. But here is the twist… In stead of going for that classic multi-tone look, opt for a simple wash of color over the entire lid and brow bone!
For today’s look I used Act IV Best Picture Palette. After I applied an eye primer, I used a Luxie Eye Shader Brush to layer Lavender Satin shade over the entire lid and brow bone. To complete the look, I added just a bit of Spotlight Highlighter to the corners of my eyes. Personally, I love pairing lavender shadows with very soft rosy lips. One of the cool things about this particular look is the fact that the shadow is completely matte (which makes the look fresh and modern). But I wanted to add just a bit of shimmer to this look, which is why I opted for Act IV Lip Cream in Reel Rose, a beautiful glimmering rosy shade.

Another product I wanted to share with you guys is the Falscara Eyelash Kit. First thing is that I am horrible at doing false eye lashes! I can’t attach them properly and I hate that the strip line is a dead giveaway that you’re wearing them. So, I tried these and loved them! First they attach under your natural lashes, not above which is why there is no visible line. Secondly it took me about 5 minutes to master the process, so I was was very impressed! I’d say that if you want to give false lashes a try these would definitely be a good candidate.
