What to Wear on Your Next Vacation

$

I will be the first to admit that for years I packed way too much and brought all the wrong things on vacations with me. Packing right is a bit of a learning process, but it seems like I finally have it down, because after countless trips I noticed that I keep wearing the same things over and over again. What are they? Well, a good bikini is a must, a great crochet number which you can wear to the beach and beyond and a pretty cover-up you can dress up and down.

I’m really feeling white or neutral swimsuits at the moment. First they look great against tanned skinned, but also, they are easy to style. Basically, you can pair them with everything, from brights and prints to neutrals. Currently loving the ones below!

Crochet is probably my biggest crush at the moment, easy and breezy, it’s the perfect option to wear on your next beach getaway. Aside from being pretty, crochet is actually pretty practical too, just think about it, it doesn’t wrinkle, it dries pretty fast (I know somehow anything I wear to the beach always ends up wet), and most of the time crochet is made from cotton, which means it feels good against your skin! Find a few favorites below:

Last but certainly not least is a pretty cover-up! I love something I can dress down for day and up for night with a few beach-inspired accents!

Moeva Rebecca Bikini (also love this and this one) and Yoki Skirt (also love this and this one) | Johanna Ortiz Tasseled Striped Woven Straw Tote | Carrie Forbes Naima Slides (also love these, these, and these ones) | 1064 Studio Silence 14 Set of Two Gold Plated Necklaces | Jennifer Behr Marina Earrings | Rococo Sand Orlean Maxi Robe | Brinker & Eliza Baubles Bubble Bracelet and All Summer Long Bracelet

Animal Print Bikini

Wore this animal print bikini on a recent trip to Hawaii pretty much non-stop. Funny, I haven’t always been such a fan of this particular print, but lately, I am really having a moment with it! First, I love the color combo, second I love the way it pairs with my favorite straw and shell accents, and third, it’s just plain fun. What do you guys think?

I know I probably talk about shell accents a bit too much lately, but I am obsessed, so I can’t help it! Don’t know what it is really, but I think they just remind me of summer, sunshine and the sea whenever I wear them, so lately I’ve been wearing them even with my “city” looks. Found a few cute options on ASOS but CLICK HERE to see more.

But speaking of animal print bikinis, how cute are the ones below? Too pretty to cover up, normally, when I find a swimsuit I really love I opt for either a sheer or skirt/sarong cover-up option. Love the ones below (especially the animal print one)!

Finally, I couldn’t write this post without at least mentioning these bomb sandals I found on ASOS. Came across them by accident and ordered both, now low key planning a trip somewhere warm so I can take them out for a spin!

Monday Swimwear Clovelly Top (also love this and this one) and Bottom (also love this one) | Rosantica Lucy Tasseled Beaded  Bucket Bag (also love this and this one) | Tkees Jo Lace Up Sandals (also love these, these, and these ones) | Charo Ruiz Benna Crocheted Lace Paneled Cotton Voile Maxi Skirt (also love this, this, and this one) | 1064 Studio Silence 14 Set of Two Gold Plated Necklaces | Jennifer Behr Marina Earrings (also love these, these, and these ones) | Brinker & Eliza Baubles Bubble Bracelet (also love this one) and All Summer Long Bracelet (also love this one)

You guys know that I am always color obsessed and right now, this color happens to be terracotta! Especially, in combination with animal print, black and cream. Luckily, this color is having a moment this season, so there are plenty of pretty terracotta pieces to choose from.

As I mentioned earlier, I love wearing this color with animal print, as well as black and cream accents. Below are just a few of my recent finds and obsessions!

The bikini I’m wearing in today’s post is definitely my favorite at the moment. Love everything about it, from cut and color, to the way it pairs with my vacation staples! Found a few other pretty terracotta faves!

Blazer & Biker Shorts: Favorite Combo

Black blazers & black biker shorts is kinda what I am living for at this moment. A little casual, a little dressy, but super comfortable and if you dress this combination up with just the right pair of heels (love this pair) it has a rather chic vibe to it. Normally, when I wear this combo, I opt for a longer jacket and add a belt to cinch the waist. Finally, though you can definitely wear this look with flats or sneakers, I prefer to pair it with heels to add polish and sophistication to this otherwise casual pairing.

Best part about this combo is the fact that you can really play with accessories. Like I mentioned earlier, I do like the way this duo looks with heels and black satrapy ones are my personal choice. But I also like to add a few ankle bracelets (is anyone else crazy about shell anklets or is it just me?) and a few sparkly necklaces (loving this one & this one, especially when layered).

The Great Escape: Four Seasons, Hualalai

One of the best places to stay in Hualalai is definitely the Four Seasons Resort! Surrounded by white sand beaches and black lava landscapes, it is the perfect place to relax, unwind and explore.

What we loved about this property in particular, aside of course from the lush landscape, and stunning water front villas perfect for enjoying ocean views and unbelievably pink Hawaiian sunsets, was the fact that it caters to every type of traveler. No matter whether you prefer to spend your days at the beach or take a more active approach, the resort offers it all! I highly recommend exploring the property as much as possible: visit the cultural center, take a trip to the nearby salt flats, enjoy a spa treatment or two (we loved the Island Glow experience) or opt for snorkeling lessons with a Marine Biologist!

I’ve been talking a lot about vacation style as of late, and right now is the perfect time to stock up on your summer-style staples because Net-a-Porter, one of my favorite retailers, is having a huge summer SALE (up to 50% off). Currently, I am really into high-waisted bikinis (CLICK HERE to check out more amazing styles) paired with bold statement jewelry (check out these pretty styles on SALE now).

Another summer style staple is a bright mini dress. Easy to style (straw bag & gladiator sandals are always a great choice) and easy to wear. Currently, I am completely obsessed with this Reformation number, this shirred mint mini and also this floral Zimmermann number – on SALE right now!

Speaking of straw bags – come summer time, they are practically all I wear. Aside from the fact that they add that certain free-spirited sunny element to your look, they are really comfortable to wear. This bag is probably one of my all time favorite summer bags and it’s on SALE now, but I also love this Stella McCartney tote 50% OFF right now.

One of the ultimate highlights of our Hawaiian vacation was dinner at the beach. Probably one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever enjoyed, the dessert arrived just in time for that perfectly pink sunset. I opted for a rather romantic look, given the setting. I love a good floral midi or maxi skirt (how cute is this Self-Portrait one – also on SALE). A fantastic summer staple, you can wear it to the beach with a bikini top or out to town, with a cute crop top (another favorite style HERE).

3 Pieces You Will Wear All Summer Long

$

Chic yet comfortable, to me, these 3 pieces are the essential summer staples every wardrobe needs this season: first, is of course a linen blazer. Linen is a perfect fabric choice for summer because it’s light-weight, it doesn’t wrinkle all that much (and when it does, it looks even more cool), and it goes so well with other summer staples like woven shoes, bags & shell jewelry. The second is biker shorts. Love them because they are comfortable, love them because they are cool, love them because they look good with just about everything from oversized blazers to cropped sweatshirts. Though I am a big fan of biker shorts in general, currently I can’t get enough of the pastel/knit version. So good with white, neutrals and other pastel colors, I think the softer color gives them that perfect summery vibe.

Another summer staple is a pair of white sandals. You know you’ll wear them with everything and everywhere, and this season offers a variety of great options. The trendiest style right now is of course the barely there sandal on a low/mid heel and the ones below are some of my personal faves at the moment.

P.S. MANGO is having a memorial day sale, so be sure to take advantage of the Buy 2 get 30% Off, Buy 3 Get 40% Deal!

Mango Structured Linen Jacket (also love this one) and Cyclist Bermuda Shorts (also love these, these, and these ones) | Sandals (similar here, here, and here) | Louis Vuitton OnTheGo Tote Bag | Amber Sceats Santorini Earrings | Shashi Double Coin Necklace and Starburst Locket Necklace | 8 Other Reasons Goldy Stud Earrings | Uncommon James By Kristin Cavallari Atocha Coin Necklace | Cam Jewelry Ascending Zodiac Medallion Necklace | Bracha Alexander Coin Pendant Necklace

Mock Croc for Summer? Why Not?

Seriously though! Why not? Personally, I like a bit of texture when it comes to accessories, and mock croc adds that slightly cool, edgy touch to girlier pieces. Good for day and for night, the little By Far bag I am wearing in today’s post has accompanied me everywhere from parties to meetings and everything in between!

Though mock croc comes in all colors and there are definitely a few pastel versions I have my eye on (love this one, this one and this one), chocolate brown is what I wear the most. Found a few faves on SALE, click on the images below to shop.

Also, the dress I am wearing in today’s post is actually my favorite at the moment, but then of course I am always in love with Isabel Marant! Got it on SALE and I found a few similar pieces on SALE below!

Paris Texas Tall Croc Embossed Leather Boots (also love these and these ones) | Isabel Marant Étoile Loz Skirt, Telicia Dress, Loris Blouse, Lilia Dress, Teller Ruffle One Shoulder Dress, and Lilia Printed One Shoulder Cotton Dress | By Far Mini Croc Effect Leather Tote (also love this, this, and this one) | Storets Chloe Square Neck Floral Dress | Nicholas Ruched Mini Dress

Best Summer Body Glow Products

Just want to start by saying this is not a sponsored post, I was honestly so impressed by Patrick Ta Major Glow Collection that I just had to share it with you guys. If you read my blog on the regular, you probably already know that body oils and shimmer/glow products is something that I’m super into, and this collection offers the best I’ve tried so far. Shimmery body oils are hard to get right. Aside from the fact that they are often dry oils, which I find to actually be drying, the shimmer often goes on patchy, so the end result is not exactly pretty. But products from this collection go on easily, are super moisturizing and the colors are just unbelievable!

Patrick Ta Major Glow Body Oil – definitely a favorite product if I absolutely had to pick one because I’m very impressed with everything. This body oil gives you some serious sparkle and shine – so if you are looking for a natural looking product, this is not it. But personally, I love the glow this gives me and it lasts forever – it doesn’t really rub off or fade away which is impressive. Aside from sparkle, because this is a body oil, you are getting some serious moisture – your skin is literally gleaming from the oil. An added bonus – I am obsessed with how this product smells!

Major Glow Highlighting Mist – I love this mist! Obsessed that it works for face and body. I like spraying it on my cheekbones, collar bone, and shoulders the most – it gives such a beautiful glow. The glow is really buildable – you can either go over the area multiple times or spray from closer or further away to control the intensity. I find the spray application to be super easy and mess free. However, if you want some control over this mist application, I loved using the Major Glow Setting Fan – it’s perfect to cover up the areas you don’t want highlighted and of course fan yourself after the application to help the mist set.

Major Glow Lip Shine – you guys know that I love sparkly lip glosses, so naturally, I was super excited to try these out. I’m definitely loving them right now, they are perfect for summer! Love that they can be worn alone or on top of your favorite lipstick if you want to add some sparkle and shine. They glide on super smoothly, are very moisturizing, non sticky, and have this awesome glass-like finish. I like wearing “Is She Younger Than Me?” shade all over my lips and popping “She’s Expensive” right in the center of my lips for an extra pouty look.

Is Gel Manicure Actually Bad for Your Nails?

$

0

I’ve been meaning to write this post for some time now, but a recent conversation with a friend finally prompted me to talk about my take on gel manicures. First, I’ve been getting gel manicures for the past 6 years. Second, my nails grow super fast, so I get gel done every 10 days or so. Third, I don’t take breaks from gel (I heard some people like to let their nails rest between gel manicures). Fourth, my nails are totally fine (I don’t have acrylics so you can see that my nails are petty long)!

So, here is my take on gel manicures: gel itself does not harm your nails. What can in fact make your nails brittle and weak is peeling gel off yourself, or getting it removed incorrectly at a salon. When you get your gel removed, you have to make sure that it is coming off easily (5-10 minutes of soaking your nails in acetone should take care of that). If you see that your technician is struggling to take your gel off, ask them to soak your nails a little while longer. But I think what make a real difference in terms of how strong and healthy your nails are is what you do to take care for them on daily basis. So, I thought I’d share a few tips and tricks that have been really instrumental in growing my nails long and strong.

First – Soaking your nails in salt water actually makes them stronger. So, once a week I recommend doing salt bath for your hands and nails. All you need to do is fill a bowl with warm water, add about 3 table spoons of bath salt (I like to use SpaLife Bath Salts With Dried Flowers Rose) and soak your nails for about 5 minutes. Another option is salt hand scrub (I often use Brooklyn Botany Himalayan Salt Body Scrub ). All you need to do is moist your hands and massage the scrub into your hands and nails for about 5 minutes! Makes all the difference!

Next, and this is something I do everyday before I go to bed, is oil followed by a hand cream. The trick is to really massage the oil into your skin, paying special attention to your nails and cuticles (most of the time I use either Moroccan Oil Pure Argan Oil, OPI Nail and Cuticle Oil or Blossom Scented Cuticle Oil). Once the oil is more or less absorbed, follow the same directions with the hand cream (love this one – Alteya Organics Age Defense Hand Cream). The reason why it’s so good to do it before bed is because our skin tends to absorb things better at night. I promise, if you do this for 1 week straight, you’ll be surprised just how much better your hands and nails look.

Also, I never leave my house without a hand lotion in my bag. Every time I wash my hands I apply hand lotion. Harsh water and soap (or using hand sanitizers) strips moisture from our skin and makes our hands and nails dry, which in tern, makes them brittle and prone to breaking.

Finally, hand gloves! If your nails and hands are particularly dry, I recommend wearing hand gloves at night. You don’t have to wear them all the time, even a few days in a row makes a difference (these are super inexpensive but work miracles – NatraCure Moisturizing Gel Gloves). So, once your oil and hand cream are on, put on hand gloves to really seal the moisture. You will wake up with baby soft hands, I promise!

And yes, I know, this does seem time consuming, but I think once you’ll see the difference these few simple steps make, it will become part of your routine!

P.S. Got a lot of questions about this manicure on my insta stories, so here are a few of my favorite yellow and rose gold nail polish shades! Click On the images to SHOP.

Oh, and not just any jewelry, but bold, bright and beautiful kind of jewelry! So, this year is really your best chance to have fun with you accessories! Though there are multiple jewelry trends this season, the two I am loving the most are shells and brights!

Little Linen Dress You Need Now

Ended up wearing one of my favorite dresses in my favorite cities! Though we didn’t have very much time to spend in Milan, we did manage for an epic breakfast (Gucci cafe in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is always our first stop) and an equally epic round of shopping! Scored all the sold out items I had my eye on, including the padded Prada headband in pink (can’t wait to show it to you guys).

But… back to the reason and title of this post. My love for everything Reformation runs deep simply because every year they manage to create a multitude of lust-worthy dresses I want to wear everywhere! In fact, I practically live in them! Perfect for work and for play, great to take with you on vacation, I especially love their linen collection because it’s such a perfect fabric to wear on hot summer days and nights! CLICK HERE to see more cute dress options!

Special mention to sneakers and anklets because I am obsessed! Below are some of the ones I’m loving at the moment.

The dress I am wearing in today’s post is one of my current favorites! A very simple yet, super cute silhouette, amped-up with some puff sleeves, cinched waist and flared skirt, seriously makes for one perfect summer dress. I love white dresses in general, but this particular one has been in heavy rotation just because it looks good with just about everything from sneakers and barely there heels, to cute flats and slides.

Also, just in general, cause you know how jewelry obsessed I always am, wanted to show you a few things I’m loving at the moment!

Summer Date Night Look

As I was getting ready to go out to dinner with my husband the other night, I asked his opinion on an outfit (every once in a while I do that, cause I tend to trust his judgment the most) and his response was very surprising. I was wearing this exact outfit (which later on became my business dinner outfit in Milan) and his exact words were: “Oh yeah, love it when you wear these simple little dresses and heels! The blazer is cool too!”.

Honestly, I always imagined he preferred my girly, romantic numbers or my date-night uniform which consists of skinny jeans, heels and a pretty top, but he swore that this combo is what he likes the most! Well, ok then! Simple dresses and heels is definitely something I can do all the time:) I mean… cute yet comfortable, what’s not to love about that!

Finish the look with cute strappy hells and a dressy bag! Below are some of my favorites!

Jacquemus Bergamo Suede and Leather Sandals (also love these, these, and these) and Saudade Linen Blend Dress (on sale HERE and also love this, this, and this one) | Chanel Sequined Flap Bag (similar here, here, and here) | Smith Unstructured Blazer (also love this and this one)

Lake Como with Lancome

If you follow me on instagram, you may already know that recently I spend a few days in Italy with Lancome. The trip was absolutely amazing for many reasons, full recap of my trip is coming up shortly so stay tuned for that, but in the meantime, I wanted to share a few images from my favorite day. On this particular day, I got to have dinner at Villa d’Este – one of the most beautiful and romantic hotels in Lake Como to celebrate the launch of Lancome x Chiara Chiara Ferragni collection.

Definitely a dream come true for me because Lake Como and Villa d’Este have been on my must-visit list for years now, being able to experience it with my favorite make-up brand was that much more special. Another reason is of course the collection itself, aside from the fact that I personally follow, love and admire Chiara, her collaboration with Lancome is absolutely to die for! From packaging to colors, everything about it is very her and true to her personal style and esthetic, but also incredibly wearable and flattering. Though it’s hard to choose a favorite, Mademoiselle Chiara The Palette immediately found a permanent home on my dressing table. For someone who travels a lot, the palette offers a solution to minimize the amount of make-up I need to bring with me. On the other hand, I’m always on the go, so now I just carry it with me throughout the day for touch-ups!

I also appreciate the variety of looks I can create using just this Palette alone. This flirty palette includes 4 lipsticks, 4 eyeshadows, 3 highlighters, 1 lipgloss and a blush, all in very pretty golden, pink and red hues. For today’s look, I used the peachy blush to add some warmth to my face, the  golden highlighter in the inner corners and on cheekbones, and completed the look with L’Absolu Mademoiselle Shine Balm Lipstick in Positive Attitude. Absolutely love this lipstick shade for summer. This pretty peachy pink is really flattering, bright enough to add a bit of drama to your make-up game yet has a certain softness to it so you definitely can wear it during the day as well. The Palette was so popular is sold out within hours, but I’m told Lancome restocking soon, so keep your eyes open for that because its definitely a great item to add to your make-up bag.

Sunset Palette Evening Staples

You guys know that I live for color! Love to wear it during the day and of course cocktail hour is no exception. Not that there is anything wrong with a classic little black dress, in fact, some of my favorite evening dresses are black, but isn’t it kinda fun to switch things up every once in a while and opt for something bright instead?

Well, I’m certainly feeling color at the moment, especially anything in sunset palette (think yellow, orange and pink), mainly due to this show-stopping number by Maria Lucia Hohan I picked up from Shopbop the other day (on SALE by the way). Now why do I like these colors so much? First, they are really flattering and look especially striking if you got a bit of a tan going on, secondly they pair perfectly with nude accents (bags & heels) and thirdly, since I’ve been on a big gold jewelry kick as of late, these colors look amazing when you add a bit of bling in gold.

Oh, and here are a few nude/gold/clear accents I’m loving at the moment! Oh, and how cute are those clutch bags, btw? Best part? They are under $30!!!!!

Have You Tried Regi Yet?

This post was created in paid partnership with Regi.

TryRegi.com is something I’ve discovered fairly recently, and I am hooked! First of all, what is Regi? Well Regi is the place to discover medical aesthetic and curated beauty services, we’re talking the best nail and hair salons, face and body treatments, make-up, eyelashes and eyebrow services, all in one place! Basically, they’ve done the leg work for you and found all the best spas and salons, so finding the right place for you is really simple.

Why I love it? Well first, I like the fact that I can narrow down what it is that I’m looking for by treatment type and location. Being able to choose location is actually really convenient because I rarely have the time to go somewhere far, but this way, I can see all the best places that are near to me.

Another reason, and this is definitely something I use all the time, is their Concierge team. Aside from the fact that it’s completely free, I love that after you make your first booking request on TryRegi.com you gain access to their concierge team, which enables you to book with real people directly over text. I’m always on the go, often trying to book several services at the same time (hair, nails, lashes, etc), so being able to just text the concierge what service I’m looking for and times that work best for me then get a text back within minutes that it’s all booked and I’m good to go is kinda amazing!

Another reason is the helpful tips! As much as I love discovering new beauty places and services, trying something new can be intimidating at times simply because you don’t know what to expect. Well, that’s why I love Regi’s Concierge team, I can just text to ask about a particular service or ask for a recommendation on the best place to get a particular service. Love that!

On this particular occasion, I was looking for a place to get my brow game on point. I’ve been thinking about going to a professional for some time now but was really intimidated to go to a random place I knew nothing about. After speaking to Regi’s Concierge team, I finally found just the right salon for me, which by the way also does great eyelash extensions (they look natural and the staying power is amazing). I really love the way my eyebrows look! Polished but not overly done, so they still look natural.

P.S. Enter code REGIANNABELLE25 to enjoy $25 off your first beauty treatment!

To say that I’ve been obsessed with pearls lately, is to say nothing at all, which is why I thought it might be fun to show you guys all the ways I’ve been incorporating pearls into my accessories lately. There are so many different ways to wear pearls this season and personally, I love them all! From shoes and bags to hair accents and jewelry, pearls bring that perfect finishing touch to your look. So I hope you enjoy!

Pearl sandals? Why yes please! Love wearing them with casual, easy peaces to bring a bit of drama to some of my more understated looks.

A perfect summer bag, you can wear it pretty much anywhere from the beach to cocktail hour! Added bonus, a bag like this has longevity and will never go out of style, so you get to love it and wear it for years.

Headbands are big news this season and these pearl ones are absolutely gorgeous. If you really want to amp up the drama, wear your hair up and pair them with giant pearl hoop earrings! This combo definitely makes a statement!

Though this brand was on my radar for some time now, I think my obsession went into overdrive when I Forward sent me the dress I am wearing in today’s post. You know me, usually I shy away from bold prints, yet this gorgeous floral didn’t feel overwhelming at all! My idea of a perfect summer evening dress, I wore it when I went to lake Como with Lancome and honestly it was definitely one of my personal favorites!

One of the biggest reasons why I stayed away from prints in the past was because I never knew what accessories to wear them with! Well, I finally figured it out! Nude heels (something that virtually disappears when you put it on, so that all the attention is on the print) and clear evening bags! The latter is another current obsession of mine! Aside from the fact that you can wear clear evening bag with every evening/cocktail dress you have in your closet, they feel especially modern and now since transparency is having such a big moment this season. And you know what, I think this trend is here to stay!

Summer Essentials – What You Will Wear All Summer Long

Why is it that certain items just scream summer? I mean, think about a white eyelet dress for example, can you imagine anything that is more sunshine and summer-like than this classic staple? Personally, I can’t really imagine summer without it, which is why a perfect eyelet number is always at the top of my list.

The most wonderful thing about white eyelet dresses is that they come in all kinds of shapes, cuts, lengths and styles, so you can always find something that fits your particular taste. Below are some of my personal faves (including the one I’m wearing in this post).

Another summer staple is a cute pair of flats. Sure, there are plenty of lust-worthy heels out there, but cute flats is what you’ll wear the most. Lucky for us, flats are having  moment, especially the ones of embellished variety, and the ones below are just a few I am currently lusting over.

Last but certainly not least is gold jewelry. Jewelry in general plays much more prominent part during warmer months o9f the year, but I think this season in particular, chains and layered necklaces are all the rage! Love the way they add sparkle to a look, love the way they add cool vibe to classic summer staples, basically just LOVE!

Why I Shop For All My Beauty Products Online

As is with a lot of my content, this post was actually inspired by a recent conversation I had with my girlfriends. We were talking favorite beauty products, but more specifically our favorite places to shop for them. When I mentioned that I shop for all my beauty products on line they were at first kind of surprised. “Well, don’t you want to try things before you buy them?” is what one of my friends said, to which I replied that I do in fact try everything, I simply try it in the comfort of my own home!

And this is when I brought up the fact that I shop for all by beauty products exclusively on Nordstrom.com. Why Nordstrom.com? Aside from the fact that they make on line shopping incredible easy (I’m talking fast shipping and Free returns), I don’t always have time to go to a physical store during business hours, but I can shop online anytime! Love that by the way, one of my favorite things to do is to browse the beauty section before I go to bed. Another reason why I love shopping on Nordstrom.com is the fact that they have all of my favorite brands from Laura Mercier, MAC Cosmetics, Charlotte Tilburry and NARS to Drybar, Dyson and FOREO. Basically, I can shop for make-up, skin-care, hair care and tools in one place! Love that! Nordstrom.com even has a special Natural Beauty & Wellness section which I frequent & love!

Since this is a beauty post, I couldn’t really imagine writing it without at least mentioning some of my favorite beauty products (all of which I got on Nordstrom.com).

Before I get into make up, I wanted to mention a few skincare products I’m loving at the moment! First is of course the FOREO LUNA facial cleansing device. After hearing so much about it, I decided to give it a try and the results were really spectacular! I don’t think my skin ever felt cleaner or looked better (even the stubborn blackheads on my nose are gone). So now, it’s part of my daily cleansing ritual! Second is Lancôme’s Advanced Génifique Serum – I woke up to baby skin after trying it for the first time and Génifique Eye Light Pearl Serum, which cares for your entire eye area (including eyelashes) to help with fine lines, under eye bags and firmness. Love this one! Last but certainly not least is my beauty blender, I don’t know how I did my make-up without it, but now I use it for everything from foundation to cream brushes and highlighters and results are always very natural looking.

When it comes to my day-time make up routine, I always stick to less is more philosophy! Natural looking foundation (NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation is virtually undetectable even in the brightest daylight), eyeliner, mascara (love Lancôme Hypnôse Instant Full Volume Mascara, especially with Vitamin-Infused Mascara Primer under it),  a nude lip (MAC Cosmetics makes the best one ever! Honey Love shade is not too light and not too dark, basically natural looking nude pout that’s perfect for day) and a wash of color on my lids. Eyeshadow is a fairly new thing for me, but I recently got MAC Cosmetics Times Nine Shadow Palette and now I’m super into it! Love to wear shade Antiqued (think old gold) all over my lids for day. It just adds a bit of light to the entire face and makes your eyes pop! Love that!

I’m sure by now you probably know that I am crazy about body-care products and oils and tanning products are always at the top of my must-have list. I’ve talked about MOROCCANOIL Instant Shimmering Body Oil many times before and it’s still a fave. Perfectly moisturizing, it offers just the right amount of shimmer for everyday (pretty golden-shimmery glow, normally I use it on my legs, arms and shoulders). A more recent discovery are Vita Liberata tanning products. People always ask me about my tan (no one ever asks me what tanning products I use, which is always a good sign because it means that my tan looks natural), and pHenomenal Tan Mousse is what I use on daily basis! Love the color, love the fact that it’s smell-free, love the fact that it dries fast, love the fact that it’s moisturizing! Basically just LOVE! Another product I love from this company is the Body Blur. It’s like a foundation for your body that covers imperfections (so think bruises, scars, anything really), gives a natural looking tint while reflecting light! Honestly, it’s absolutely amazing!

Normally, I like to use a hair straightener to both straighten and curl my hair and this one by Drybar is amazing! Easy to use, it’s very lightweight but also gentle. I definitely noticed that my hair looks smoother when I started using it! The Dry Texturizing Spay from Oribe also made multiple appearance on this blog and its because I literally swear by this product! In fact, I keep a travel sized version in my purse at all times! The way this product helps to hold and finish a hair style is amazing! It creates the perfect texture I could never achieve with hairspray, helps with fly-aways and adds volume!

If less is more, when it comes to my day-time makeup, more is definitely more when I go out. I like to play up my eyes, so lately I’ve been using the same MAC Cosmetics Times Nine Shadow Palette I use during the day, but for night, I like to wear “Honey Lust” under my brow bone and intensify the look by applying “Sketch” just above the crease and use “Noir” to wing out my eyes. I also love adding highlighter to the bridge of my nose, inner corners of my eyes and cheek bones. MAC Electric Wonder Ignite Face Palette has the prettiest shades and creates a very beautiful glow that makes your entire face pop! Normally, if I go for dramatic eyes, I opt for matte lipstick in a pretty coral shade! Always obsessed with Charlotte Tilburry lipsticks, the shade Sexy Sienna is just amazing! Though I love wearing it during the day, it looks especially striking paired with rich brown, burgundy and golden eye shades! If the occasion is very formal, I’ll apply a lipgloss over my lipstick. I’ve talked about NARS Multi-Use Lipgloss before (this stuff is incredible, you can even use it on your lids to create that wet eye-lid look), and it’s still a favorite! Shade “Star Babe” is my particular favorite. A soft golden peach, it looks beautiful layered or on its own.

Special thank you to Nordstrom & RewardStyle for partnering with me on this post.
