Though I’ve been back in LA for almost a week now, and for the most part, have gotten back into the swing of things ( crazy schedule and super early mornings included ), I still can’t completely shake off the vacation mode! I can’t help it, I miss our sun-filled adventures! And since I was feeling particularly nostalgic today, I decided to take this opportunity to share a few more images from our recent trip to Tulum! Hope you enjoy!

If I had to name 5 favorite things in my closet right now, the trench coat I am wearing in today’s post would be right at the top of that list! Aside from the fact that I am attracted to trench coats in general ( other favorite ones here & here ), reason why this happens to be my obsession du jour is really the combination of fit, print and color. Love the length, and the slightly feminine silhouette, but it is the black and white pairing that really drives it home for me because it makes such a bold yet timeless statement.

I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now, and it’s been on constant rotation paired with everything from midi pleated skirts and statement heels to cropped jeans and slippers and so far, it delivered every time! No matter what I wear it with, it elevates a look to the next level and adds a perfect touch of drama to even the simplest of outfits, and of course you know how much I appreciate that!

Happy Saturday, Everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the weekend! I just wanted to say hi and do a quick recap of my recent trip to Tulum! Though it hasn’t been that long since we came back to LA ( my tan hasn’t even faded yet ), I already miss it like crazy! Especially, since it’s been so cold, gloomy and rainy in LA lately! I just can’t help it! Currently, chasing away the blues by planning another trip to Tulum in March! Fingers crossed!

Early Valentine’s Surprise

As much as I love and look forward to New York fashion week, the one thing that makes me a bit blue is the fact that since my husband doesn’t always travel with me and Valentine’s Day happens to be right in the middle of NYFW, we don’t always get to spend this day together. Normally, we celebrate after I come back, but this year Emil planned our V Day celebration prior to my leave, which was definitely a nice surprise!

Since our date involved some activities during the day, I decided to forgo my usual cocktail dress and partnered with Express for this  cute pencil skirt and a black off the shoulder bodysuit. I fell in love with this skirt the moment I saw it! Classic shape and fit, the side zip give it that special, sexy detail that I always look for in evening wear. For today’s look, I paired it with a bodysuit, which should be no surprise to anyone at this point, since I’ve been so obsessed with them lately! The fact that this particular one is off-shoulder was why I love it so much. Certainly perfect to wear with jeans for day, paired with more tailored pieces like pencil skirts for example, creates a very feminine and elegant look, and gives an outfit a very romantic vibe.

A good outfit sets the day, and we had a lovely one together. We started our date at Laduree in Beverly Hills, a place we are both rather obsessed with at the moment. Deserts are absolutely fantastic and we also love their cocktails! Then, Emil took me to dinner to a restaurant we used to go to a lot when we first started dating — Petrossian. We hadn’t been in a while, so it was a sweet moment to revisit one of our favorite places!

Mule Trend: Favorite Pairs to Wear Now

Good morning, Everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful week! I am very excited to partner with Marc Fisher LTD again, this time to talk about the mule trend and also some of my favorite mule styles to  wear right now.

mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-blog2017-3

Though there are certainly more than a few amazing shoe trends coming in for this Spring/Summer 2017, mules have got to be one of my personal favorites! Aside from the fact that they are a great combination of beauty and function, what I love about mules the most is the fact that they come in a variety of styles which pair beautifully with pretty much any look imaginable, from casual to dressy, and everything in between!

mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-blog2017-5

mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-blog2017-7 mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-blog2017-6

mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-blog2017-8

Those of you who happen to have a weakness for high-heels like I do, will probably agree that a great pair of heels isn’t just a thing of beauty, it’s also very much about function. I mean, let’s face it, sometimes we all need a bit of a lift! But as much as I love high heels, I feel that they add a touch of dressiness to the look and some outfits work better with more casual shoe options. In which case, you could of course opt to wear flats, but if you are a high-heels kinda girl like me, then high-heel mules like Ragina flared high heel mule I’m wearing in today’s post is definitely the answer! Sleek and sculptural, you get the added lift without the uber dressed up feel! Take today’s look for example, though I certainly could have paired these cropped jeans and silk bomber jacket with a pair of high-heeled sandals or pumps, going with something a bit more sleek and modern like heeled mules, gives this outfit a much more easy-going vibe.

Reason why I am so obsessed with the particular pair I’m wearing today is the flared heel and the color of course! This very soft shade of gray acts as a neutral and pairs perfectly with any cool-colored pieces ( I especially love the way it looks with blue and lavender ). Another reason is the price point. Super affordable, these shoes are attainable without  sacrificing quality or design! And of course you know how important quality is to me!

Valentine’s Day Traditions

My girlfriends and I have a tradition where every year, we get together for brunch for Valentine’s Day and gift each other a little something special. After all, Valentine’s Day is a holiday celebrating love, and my friends are just so important to me. Coming across people that you share such a special connection with is truly priceless and I am very fortunate to have great friends in my life who I share this connection with and our friendship is extremely valuable to me.

I’ve always believed that a perfect present is something special, meaningful and also something of lasting value. Naturally, Valentine’s Day gifts to my girls are no exception. This year, I began my search early on but came up empty until one morning, as I was putting on my jewelry on, it occurred to me that the perfect gift was starring me right in the face!

Once I set my mind on gifting jewelry, finding the perfect pieces to gift was rather easy. I’ve always loved David Yurman jewelry because of how modern, sophisticated yet versatile it is. And yes, just like with everything else, when it comes to jewelry, versatility is very important to me as well. Personally, I absolutely love the fact that I can wear David Yurman pieces for day and night, and create different looks by layering and combining different shapes, textures and sizes.

david-yurman-jewelry-valentines-day-vivaluxury-2017-10

Choosing which piece of jewelry to gift to my girls for Valentine’s Day was not an easy task indeed, because there are so many beautiful DY collections to choose from. But in the end, I decided on the gorgeous ‘Te Amo” Bracelet from David Yurman’s Whispers collection because I’ve always admired how striking the combination of sterling silver and gold looks and Sculpted Heart Chain Bracelet from David Yurman’s Le Petit Coeur collection because I absolutely love how delicate and feminine it is! In fact, I love these pieces so much, I’ve added them to my DY jewelry collection as well. After all, I see absolutely no reason I couldn’t treat myself on Valentine’s Day as well!

P.S. If you’re looking for more inspiration for Valentine’s Day gifts, check out a few of my favorites here & here!

Special thank you to David Yurman and ShopStyle for partnering with me on this post.

NYFW Packing

Hey Everyone! So, doing something a bit different this time around! Recently, ShopStyle reached out to do a little Q&A about NYFW & my packing essentials, so I decided share some of the highlights in addition to a few more favorite packing tips & tricks! Hope you enjoy!

What is your travel uniform?

I definitely like to layer up when I travel – normally, a comfy t-shirt, a sweatshirt and a jacket to throw on top in case I get cold! The temperatures on the plane are so unpredictable. Sometimes it’s freezing cold and other times it’s uncomfortably warm, so I find that if I layer, I can always find a perfect medium.

NY fashion week packing Viva Luxury-1

Do you still get excited for Fashion Week?

I do! Even though I’ve gone to NYFW twice a year for almost 5 years now, I still get excited every time the season comes around. I love planning my looks and attending the shows to see what’s in store for us for an upcoming season. Plus, New York is so different from LA, I love experiencing that change and a faster pace of the city.

What shows are you looking forward to?

Ah, there are so many Rodarte and Alexander Wang to name a few, but I love Jonathan Simkhai’s aesthetic at the moment and I am really looking forward to seeing the new collection!

What beauty tips do you have to survive fashion week?

I’m a beauty junkie! I’m always trying new face masks so I definitely pack a couple of new ones to try out as well as old favorites. For February Fashion Week moisture is what I need the most. The freezing temperatures outside make me turn up the heat in my hotel room making it very dry. So hydrating face masks, body moisturizers, lip balms, they all get to go with me! And the more, the merrier.

A few favorites include Korres jasmine lip butter, which is honestly the best solution for dry lips I have ever tried. I don’t have a lot of time to take care of my skin during the day, so I use the Aerin Beauty ‘Rose’ overnight mask to wake up to soft, dewy skin. Finally, my favorite product of all time is Aerin Beauty ‘Rose de Grasse’ body cream. Aside from the fact that it smells heavenly, it also makes my skin super soft. I apply it morning and at night.”

Another beauty tip that I have is to drink less coffee. I know, I know, coffee is the daily fuel but it can be so dehydrating so if I could skip my cup of coffee and opt for a green juice instead to reenergize, I’m definitely thanking myself later!

How do you pack for February fashion week?

I try to pack very strategically because I never want to end up with 5 suitcases but somehow I always do anyway! One word – coats! They take up a lot of room! But the one thing that is very important to me is order, I tend to pack clothing, beauty and accessories separately! This way, once I get to New York, I know exactly where everything is and that saves a lot of time!

What is one thing that you will take on a plane with you?

My blanket! I have a special blanket that I always take on a plane with me. It’s cozy and soft and makes sleeping on the plane so much easier.

Mule Trend Part 2

Good morning, Everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful week! You may remember that I’ve talked about one of my favorite mule styles to wear right now in a recent post, and today, I’d like to add yet another style that’s been on constant rotation as of late.

mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-2017-7

mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-2017-4

mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-2017-2 mark-fisher-shoes-vivaluxury-2017-5

Case in point, these uber cool Shiloh flat mules! The one shoe style I practically live in at the moment, I love the way they look paired with cropped, distressed denim and long toppers like trenches or anoraks for example! The most comfortable shoe style imaginable, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate how comfortable they are especially considering that I spend most of my days running around! Another great thing about flat mules is that you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort, because as comfortable as they are to wear, they feel very modern and add a cool, nonchalant  vibe to any outfit you choose to pair them with! And I don’t know about you guys, but that’s always a good thing in my book!

NYFW Hair Talks with John Frieda

If I had to use a single word to describe NYFW in February, unpredictable would definitely be it! We arrived to New York on Wednesday, catching the last non-cancelled flight from LA! Lucky, sure! But considering that all the flights were cancelled due to the fact that a pretty bad snowstorm was heading to New York, lucky wasn’t exactly the word I would use to described how we felt! I’d say moderately concerned would be a much better choice! And as it turned out we were very right to worry! The evening we arrived, the weather was beautiful! In fact, it was so nice and warm outside, we even ventured out for a little walk, but all that changed very quickly, and next morning, we woke up to a freezing, snowy New York winter!

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-2017-2

But that wasn’t the end! For the entire duration of our stay, the weather continued to change! It snowed one day and rained the next! It was nice and warm for a moment and then it was cold, windy and freezing! Like I said, unpredictable is really the only way to describe it!

Luckily this was not our first February Fashion Week, and I always keep in mind just how temperamental the weather can get, so I plan outfits accordingly and bring extra layering options just in case New York decides to throw a snowstorm at us again! (Seriously, I am not kidding, this is like the 3rd year in a row, when the weather becomes absolutely insane during Fashion Week). Unfortunately, the one thing that I always found difficult to plan for was my hair! I have very temperamental, fine hair that doesn’t react shall we say well to drastic weather!

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-2017-4 John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-2017-1

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-2017-3

Case in point would be the morning we attended the Jill Stuart presentation (which was gorgeous by the way, including a few images of my favorite looks )! The morning was nice, but later in the afternoon, it started to rain, and when the rain stopped, gushing, cold wind came out of nowhere! Normally, my hair would have been a wreck, but lucky for me, this time around, my John Frieda Hair Care fam sent me some amazing hair goodies to keep my hair looking presentable despite the snow, wind and rain!

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-8

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-6 John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-5

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-7

If you read my blog on the regular, you may remember that this is my 2nd time partnering with John Frieda Hair Care, and what I find particularly exciting about our current collaboration, is the fact that I get to take part in John Frieda Hair Care’s Hair Talks campaign which pays homage to the fact that hair styles reflect our personalities – a statement I can definitely relate to! I often talk about the fact that I have a split personality when it comes to style! On one hand, I do lean towards very sophisticated, feminine pieces which I like to pair with soft, wavy hair to enhance the romantic vibe of the looks. But on the other, I am equally partial to tough girl pieces like studded leather jackets, distressed denim and cool accessories, which I often wear with very straight hair for a slightly edgier look and feel. Though these aspects of my sartorial personality are complete opposites, they exist completely harmoniously alongside each other and I love the fact that John Frieda’s products enable me to express them both with equal ease.

So, without further ado, here are some of my old and new John Frieda Hair Care favorites:

The first on the list is definitely the Frizz Ease Serum, which I’ve been using for years. I have very fine hair and frizz is one of the things I struggle with constantly especially when I wear my hair straight, and though I’ve tried many different products, nothing works quite as well as Frizz Ease for me! It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, and eliminates those pesky little baby hair like nothing else!

A new discovery and an instant favorite – Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full Mousse! As I said, I have fine hair and it tends to fall a bit flat unless I get a bit of extra help with the volume! What I like about Perfectly Full Mouse is that it doesn’t feel crunchy, or sticky, or heavy! Basically, my hair looks fuller but doesn’t feel like I have a ton of product in it! And that’s something I definitely appreciate very much!

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-9

Another current obsession is the Luxurious Volume Forever Full Hairspray! Seriously, a life saver because fine hair and wind don’t necessarily mix very well, so if it wasn’t for this little miracle worker, my hair would have looked like a bird’s nest, but a light coat of this spray kept it all together all day! And it doesn’t feel crunchy! Love that!

John-Frieda-VivaLuxury-NYFW-10

Last but certainly not least was the Frizz Ease Air Dry Waves! Sometimes, I prefer to have a fuss free day and give my hair a bit of a break from all the styling tools and Air Dry Waves gives me an option to add a bit of texture to my hair and create soft, touchable waves that don’t feel crunchy or sticky. This by the way ended up being my go to option on the days it rained in New York, because my hair certainly doesn’t hold any style well when there is a lot of moisture in the air!

So, New York was cold! And though I am sure that you probably already heard about the bad weather from literally everyone who was in NY for Fashion Week, I feel the need to vent a little and so… New York was cold. Oh, and it was not the kind of cold when you can layer your favorite cozy separates and keep warm by sipping on a hot cocoa while admiring the scenery, no, this was the kind of cold when a 20 second trip from our car to the door of whatever event we were heading to next, seemed like eternity!

NYFW-2017-vivaluxury-1 NYFW-2017-vivaluxury-4

But, despite the cold, the wind tunnels, the rain and the traffic, I wouldn’t trade a second of it for the world. Fashion Week is my favorite kinda crazy and I am always excited to be a part of it. Also, I thought I’d take this opportunity to share one of my favorite looks that I wore this time around. Comprised entirely of all my current obsessions, I am downright in love with the Jimmy Choo boots I’m wearing in today’s post. Aside from the fact that I am always partial to details, and the polished gold buttons add just the perfect touch of sophistication to this style, lately, I’ve been looking for a pair of boots that I can wear with both skinny jeans and cropped flares, and these ones pair beautifully with both! Love that! Also, as the weather gets warmer, they will go perfectly with flowy little dresses and skirts, and obviously you know very well how much I appreciate versatile footwear, so naturally this was love at first sight!

The weather in LA has been so unpredictable as of late! One day it seems that the Spring is here, and the next, it’s rainy and gloomy. But, I did came back from New York recently where we  got to experience a blizzard, rain, and the coldest, strongest wind I’ve ever  come across, so I suppose can’t complain much.

vivaluxury-denim-empty-vase-3

On one of the recent warmer days in LA, I got to wear some new goodies that I got for spring. And if you read my blog on regular basis, you know how much I love to take an outfit for a spin earlier than anticipated.

vivaluxury-denim-empty-vase-8

In today’s post I’m wearing a Bella Dahl off shoulder top and jeans. However, they are not just your regular pair of jeans! They’re made with TENCEL® — a fiber that once added to the denim, creates a softer, more breathable, and better fitting pair of jeans. This fiber is derived from nature — it’s made from cellulose found in wood pulp. I mean, what kind of magic is that? So, naturally, I knew I had to try a pair for myself.

vivaluxury-denim-empty-vase-5

I have particularly grown to love the pair I’m sporting in today’s post. The more I wear them, the more I can feel the difference — they are so soft and breathable yet they retain their shape throughout the day, a quality I really appreciate! Ever since I got these, I’ve been looking into denim containing TENCEL® and stocking up on a few denim favorites like cute off the shoulder tops, easy-breezy dresses and cut-offs. Another unexpected plus side is that nearly 100% of the solvent used while making these jeans is recycled for future use making the process super eco-friendly!

vivaluxury-denim-empty-vase-1

vivaluxury-denim-empty-vase-2 vivaluxury-denim-empty-vase-10

vivaluxury-denim-empty-vase-6

After all, jeans are just such a universal piece of clothing in our closets. Depending on how I style the rest of my look, I can wear jeans pretty much anywhere. And I absolutely love that versatility aspect. Not to mention the comfort of wearing a pair of jeans, I don’t know about you guys but they are my go-to on daily basis.

Special thank you to Lenzing and ShopStyle for partnering with me on this post.

Fast, is always one of the first things that come to mind when I think about Fashion Week. Everything moves at incredible speeds, and a week flies by in an instant! And yet, no matter how busy I get, I always make sure to find the time to explore all the wonderful things New York has to offer!

Whether it’s doing a bit of shopping in SoHo or Madison Avenue, taking a walk in Central Park or simply visiting a favorite restaurant or discovering a new one, no trip to New York feels complete without finding something new and exciting to do in this magical city. Since New York was very cold and rainy this time around, we mainly stuck to indoor activities, and shopping and dining seemed to be the winning two! While on a shopping trip in West Village, we discovered the cutest little restaurant – While We Were Young Kitchen & Cocktails and loved it so much, it ended up being our favorite hang out spot for the week. The food was absolutely delicious, I specifically recommend trying the avocado toast and the burrata, but it’s the relaxed atmosphere, the beautiful decor and the ambiance that kept us coming back again and again!

Of all my NYFW outfits this year, the one I am wearing in today’s post, is definitely a favorite! Comprised entirely of all my current obsessions, I love all the individual pieces in equal measure because of how comfortable, stylish and versatile they are.

The Acne Studious jacket I’m wearing today is probably going down into the Hall of Fame as my favorite jacket of all time! Warm and cozy yet oh-so-very chic, edgy and polished, I just love how it pairs with practically anything from jeans to dresses, and acts as a perfect topper for both casual and dressy pieces. Seriously! I’ve warn it with a floor length lace gown and it did a fine job dressing down the look and also adding just a touch of edge to an otherwise very feminine ensemble.

Another current obsession du jour – Alexander Wang Kinga booties, I’m sporting in this look. Perfect for pairing with cropped denim, they also look rad with dresses and mini skirts and for that particular reason, have been on constant rotation ever since I came back from New York.

Last, but certainly not least, my latest denim discovery from RE/DONE. I’ve been on a cropped denim high as of late in general, but the jeans I’m wearing today are definitely my go-to pair at the moment! Perfectly slouchy, I love the exaggerated cuff which tends to add that extra bit of detailing I always look for in pieces. So good with boxy or cropped toppers, to this date, I can’t seem to find a top they don’t go with and so naturally, I’ve been wearing them non stop and with everything.

Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I, for once, took some time off and enjoyed my Sunday doing a few of my favorite things. It was quite gloomy and chilly out, but I ventured outside anyway. I like to think that my uber cozy I Love Mr. Mittens cardi ( previously seen here, long baby blue version here ) was what convinced me to step out! Super light weight, it’s actually one of the warmest sweaters I currently own, a quality which keeps this one on constant rotation as of late.

I started off my day on Melrose Place doing some shopping. I love going there, the stores are never overly busy and the location is perfect for snapping some photos. I visited my beloved Zimmermann, saw the adorable pair of oxfords I’m wearing in this post, and couldn’t help but snatch them right on the spot (yes, I walked out of the store in them!). On a side note, seeing summer dresses and swimwear at Zimmermann made me question this LA weather… It’s just been so cold here!

After shopping around a bit more and getting some hot tea at Alfreds to keep warm, I popped into my favorite floral shop nearby, Empty Vase, to pick up some blooms for the week. Flower shopping is definitely at the top of my favorite things to do, it’s essentially an obsession at this point. Plus, as I’ve probably mentioned a bunch of times by now, I absolutely love fresh flowers in the house.

At the end of the day I promised myself to have more Sundays like this one! A quiet and relaxing day, doing some of my favorite things is exactly what I need ahead of the busy week.

What are your favorite Sunday Funday activities?

Meet my current obsession du jour, i.e. blush-colored Rinna criss cross block heel slides! Aside from the fact that I love blush-colored heels in general because they happen to be a great neutral shoe option that adds just a touch of color to an outfit, this particular pair is a favorite because of how versatile it is! A great shoe option to pair with this season’s cropped denim, it works equally well with dresses and midi skirts! For this particular outfit, I went with a tucked in bow-detailed blouse and cropped, distressed jeans, but I’ve worn them with a pleated midi skirt and  a bohemian flowy dress recently, and they worked just as well! And of course you know how important versatility is to me!

Dark Florals

I don’t typically wear a lot of prints, but I really love the dark floral print this season. It’s not as girly as other floral prints, and the dark backgrounds adds a certain edge to this otherwise very feminine print. On the other hand, I often find that large floral print can feel very busy and overwhelming, but there is something incredibly elegant and polished about dark florals.

Case in point, the gorgeous 3×1 satin bomber jacket I am wearing in today’s post. Aside from the fact that floral-printed bomber jackets are huge for spring this season, what I love about this one in particular, is the fact that it’s very versatile and pairs with tailored pieces for night, and everyday staples for elevated day-time looks equally well. The latter being an especially important aspect for me since I’ve been practically living in my jean as of late and so, I am always looking for special toppers to add a bit of polished to my everyday basics!

Tales of the Trench :: PFW Edition

Though I am always happy to be in Paris, I must admit that initially, I felt a bit worried when I realized that it was going to rain for the entire duration of our stay. Yet, I’ve soon come to realize that rainy Paris is not without it’s charm because it creates a perfect opportunity to indulge in some of our favorite guilty pleasures, like enjoying a cup of coffee and a croissant at the corner cafe, visiting our favorite museums and doing a bit of shopping, of course!

Speaking of guilty pleasures, I’ve always believed there is something very romantic about trench coats, and so, when I came across this emerald perfection of a trench from Acne Studios, I knew right away that it was just the perfect thing to wear in one of the most romanic cities in the world! Aside from the fact that I have a weakness for trench coats in general, what attracted me to this particular one is the slightly looser fit, and the color, of course. Beautiful emerald green, vivid yet slightly understated somehow, it is precisely the kind of green that works equally well with the bold black and white color palette, and a slightly more muted pairing of crews, caramels and browns.

For today’s look I chose to go bolder, so I paired it with cropped flared jeans, cut-out fisher stockings and a studded suede bucket bag from Alexander Wang. Mini bags are huge for spring, and I’ve been looking for a perfect one to add to my bag collection for some time now. Yet, as soon as I came across this studded cutie, I knew I found the one. Bold and edgy, I love pretty much everything about it, from studs, to size and shape, and of course the way it adds just a touch of cool to every outfit imaginable! Basically, it’s the bag I’ll be wearing with everything come spring time, so I hope you don’t mind seeing it again and again.

Found my perfect statement jacket as I was getting ready for Paris Fashion Week and I fully intend to wear it all the time and with everything! Seriously, it looks amazing with just about every bottom option imaginable from jeans and flowy dresses or skirts, to fitted minis and denim cut-offs. Love that!

As you may have noticed, I am not a big fan of plain when it comes to outwear, which is why I always look for pieces with special details, and this suede military perfection of a jacket has them in abundance. Love the dramatic combination of suede, metallic embroidery and cropped cut, which incidentally pairs so well with this season’s higher waist-lines. Basically, a perfect jacket in every way possible, I can honestly say that I just can’t seem to bring myself to wear anything else. So, hope you don’t mind seeing a lot more of it in the future!

PFW :: Chloé

I’ve been back in LA for a little less than a week now, yet it still feels like I was strolling down Champs-Elysees just yesterday… Though I knew I would miss Paris dearly, I always do, I guess I didn’t realize just how much and how quickly! I think, I would give pretty much anything right now to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee and a croissant at my favorite Cafe de Flore right about now! And yes, I’ve become quite the croissant addict and a croissant snob, because I’ve been looking for a place in LA that makes good croissants, but haven’t been able to find one so far. So, if you guys have any suggestions, I would really appreciate them.

But while we are on a subject of favorite things, this entire Chloé look is a favorite from head-to-toe! You know, I have a wild obsession with accessories in general, but I am completely and totally in love with these Chloé sunnies and bag at the moment. Aside from the fact that they pair beautifully with just about everything, I love the way they elevate even the simplest of looks to a whole new level and add that dramatic element I always look for in accessories. And of course you know me, I like a bit of drama when it comes to outfits.

Another obsession du jour is the high-wisted fringed flares from Chloé I’m sporting in today’s post.  Aside from the fact that they make you look like you’re 6 feet tall and have mile-long legs, I love the way they pair with different top options. From tucked-in button downs and off the shoulder blouses, to cropped tops and bomber jackets, basically you can wear them anywhere and with pretty much everything! Of course you know how much I love versatility, so naturally, I’m obsessed!
