Though I am a huge fan of matching sweatpants & sweatshirts, every once in a while, it’s nice to take a bit of a break from ultra casual and give your loungewear a chic lift. The perfect answer – matching or mix and match loungewear sets. Personally, I love the pant/cropped top/oversized cardigan combo. Aside from being rather practical, it’s a super cute pairing that you can actually wear out as well.
And since we’re talking trends here… sweatpants too, have undergone a transformation this season. Cuff-less, wide-leg or straight leg sweatpants are one of the biggest loungewear hits in 2021. So, if you’re looking for a pair of loungewear trousers to sport outside with confidence, opt for a straight or wide-leg option and pair them with cute sneakers and a stylish belt bag.
However, if you prefer an option with shorts, there are plenty of those as well! Some are definitely wear-at-home only, but others, can be dressed up rather easily with stylish sneakers and a cool bag.
Lastly… yes, loungewear sets look super cute with sneakers, but, I love the way they pair with sterling or sherpa slippers. Super on trend, super warm, super cozy, there is really nothing NOT to love about this shoe style. I’ve gotten my pair about 2 months ago, and I can tell you, they are definitely the one pair I’m getting the most use out of!
