Sweater Dress: my favorite thing to wear, sweater dresses are great because they are super versatile. Wear them with boots and tights (forgive my bare legs, it’s not cold enough in LA to layer properly) or over leggings and jeans. In general, when it comes to sweater dresses I look for a slightly oversized style. Aside from the fact that I love that big knit energy, oversized styles have that slouchy, comfy casual appeal which pairs beautifully with other winter staples like chunky boots and oversized coats.
Cable-Knit Sweater: a true classic, this knit style is absolutely timeless! Pair your cable-knit sweaters with skinny jeans, chunky boots, a cute beanie and an oversized coat for a perfectly casual but polished look.
Long Cardigan: this style is truly a chameleon! Great over skinny jeans or leggings, great on it’s own (I wear my long cardigans as sweater dresses all the time), layer it over another knit instead of a coat! Basically, a long cardigan is one of those styles you will wear with everything and all the time!
Cropped Cardigan: super trendy this season, cropped cardigans look incredibly chic paired with high-waisted jeans. Another great thing about knit cardigans, you can easily dress them up by adding statement jewelry. Try wearing a cropped cardigan with a chain necklace and hoop earrings, you’ll love how polished it looks!
Fashion Knit: strong shoulder, oversized silhouette, balloon sleeves, if you’re into fashion knit wear, look for interesting statement details.
