EASY BREASY EYELET

Multi colored wedge sandals via Randa | Equipment Signature Riley tee | Rag & Bone Portobello tie dye shorts | J Crew sunglasses - sold out { similar here } | Vanessa Mooney Lynx cuff & unity ring | Rebecca Minkoff bag - sold out { similar here& here } | Essienail polish in "Bikini So Teeny"

Today's look is all about comfort. It's been so hot in LA lately, I find myself reaching for relaxed, breathy pieces like this eyelet top for example, which I decided to pair with cute denim tie dye shorts. Easily one of the prettiest tops I currently own, it's made from super light-weight & luxurious silk, which is why it's one of my current favorites.

As tempting as it was to wear flats, instead, I opted to go with a pair of color-block wedges thanks to Randa, a wonderful brand from Japan, who just launched their international on-line store. For me, a good wedge is a great heel substitute, stylish yet comfortable! And I don't know about you guys, but color blocking still makes me weak at the knees:)

I completed this look with an oversized bag and a pair of aviators. Giant purses happen to be a particular weakness of mine. I just really like to carry everything with me, and yes, everything definitely includes 5 different lip glosses,  2 hair brushes, a hair spray, a few pairs of sunglasses, and a whole bunch of Emil's stuff. But it's a small price to pay to feel complete and ready for anything, right? :)

MY SUMMER SHOE STAPLES

Gucci Victoire buckle sandals { also love this bright yellow version here } | Miu Miu patent pointed glitter pumps | Open-toe black leather boots via Isa Tapia { also love this version } | Isa Tapia Mia heels in Mint { also love this version } | Monika Chiang Imena lace up sandals | Multi colored wedge sandals via Randa Joe's Jeans Ollie denim pumps | Schutz Arieli heels { similar here }

Can hardly believe that a huge shoeaholic like me haven't done one of these posts already. But there you have it, first post specifically dedicated to shoes! Perhaps we can start a tradition?:) And not just shoes, but some of my absolute favorites!

Take these Gucci sandals for example, sleek and sexy, they complete any outfit to such an extent, I actually make an effort not to wear them everyday with everything. No, seriously! :) Of course, judging by the number of appearances they already made on this blog { see here, here& here }, I am obviously not winning that battle. Joe's Jeans pumps, Randa wedges and Schutz Arieli heels make an appearance in this post for the exact same reason. I mean, what can I say, versatility is important!

Miu Miu glitter pumps, Isa Tapia heels and Monika Chiang sandals speak to the color-obsessed, statement-shoe-fanatic aspect of my personality. The brighter the better, that's my motto! I don't know about you, but I find coral patent, glitter soles, jagged lace up straps in mint suede and intertwined leather and chain straps completely irresistible! And I am also pretty sure, I am not the only one:)!

Lovers + Friends Gracie dress { also in orange here } | Vanessa Mooney Beloved Siri statement necklace & unity ring in gold | Clare Vivier fold over clutch via StefaniBags { also love this one } | Fendi heels - sold out { similar option here

I woud like to start by announcing the winner of StyleMint GIVEAWAY, congrats to Cindy Batchelor from MyStyleSpot! I hope you love your StyleMint shorts!

I also wanted to share a few pics from our recent trip to the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach.   Approximately an hour and half drive from LA, Newport Beach is one of my favorite places to visit if I ever feel like I need a break but don't want to go too far. And Resort at Pelican Hill is pretty much my  perfect getaway place. Super relaxing and absolutely stunning, it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding golf courses and Pacific Ocean.

But the main attraction for Emil and I, has to be the Coliseum pool. One of the most beautiful pools I ever seen, I think we can spend eternity lounging around and working on our tans, while slowly sipping Venetian Mojitos, our favorite cocktail. So yummy! Just talking about this place makes me want to start planning our next visit! After all, our anniversary is only a month and a week away:)

What about you guys, what is your favorite getaway spot?

Yet another one of my Truth & Pride leather jacket outfits. I got it a little more than a year ago and it's been making an appearance after another on this blog (last seen here& here ). You'd think bright orange leather is quite demanding and difficult to wear, but in reality it's an amazingly versatile piece that works great with graphic black & white looks, adds a dose of color to neutral palette and combines perfectly with an endless array of complementary colors.

But above all, I love the fit of this jacket. To me, it's a perfect combination of fitted and slouchy. Of course, the fact that it looks completely new after a year of intense abuse on my part doesn't hurt either:) So, I hope you don't mind seeing it every so often, because I don't think the jacket and I are going to part ways anytime soon:)!

Blazers are definitely my weakness. I can never pass up an opportunity to add a great-fitting jacket to my ever-expanding collection. So easy to wear, I love blazers because they are so versatile and also add a bit of structure to any ensemble. This particular Rag & Bone one, happens to be a current favorite. Love absolutely everything about it, especially the the brilliant blue color and contouring contrast panels, not to mention the length and a slightly slouchy fit. Originally, I bought it as part of a set with matching shorts (see outfit here), but I think it works just as well on it's own. What do you guys think?

P.S. Is anyone else completely obsessed with GROM ice cream? So far, I haven't tried a flavor I didn't like! But I think hazelnut & lampone combo is my absolute favorite!

Wanted to share a few images from a super fun day I spent at Nanette Lepore store on Robertson Boulevard. And when I say a day, that is exactly what I mean because choosing one's anniversary outfit is not a light matter:)

If you read my blog on regular basis, you know what a huge Nanette Lepore fan I am { wearing my favorite dress of all time here and lace tophere } and of course the June collection is no exception. Full of bold colors and prints, I love how impeccably constructed and tailored every piece is.

Since I didn't want to limit my anniversary outfit choice to just a dress, I went outside the box a bit and tried on a gorgeous beaded romper, fitted shorts, pretty top and blazer combo as well as a fun skirt, flirty top and bright jacket ensemble. Making a final choice was not an easy task indeed, but in the end I walked away with a perfect outfit! Or two:)

Can you guess, which one? Which is your favorite look?

Snapped these pics around a super cute breakfast place Emil and I like to go to. Used to be our Sunday spot, but lately we've been coming here a least 3 times a week. Sometimes more :) We are sort of obsessed with their coffee and desert selection. We have a soft spot for macaroons and theirs are especially amazing!

I also love the area around the cafe, located on a super quiet street, I can never pass up an opportunity to browse through nearby vintage stores. Just last week, I found an amazing silver tray for my coffee table. I've been looking for a piece like that for months now, so I was over-the-moon excited once I finally found it!

How about you guys, do you have a favorite cafe you like to go to?

This is definitely another one of my outfits comprised entirely of current favorites. Case in point, if you read my blog regularly, you know how I feel about shoes and statement shoes in particular. The ones I am wearing today, are my latest score! Always on a lookout for a great pair of black sandals, these are the coolest strappy heels I came across in a while. Love that they are not too tight around the ankle, which makes them not only absolutely awesome but also completely, gasp....  wearable and walkable!

The shorts are another one of my latest obsessions, love the cut and of course the armor detailing on the front. I've been wearing them with a loose-fitting bleached denim shirt, but decided to switch things up a bit and paired them with a lace top instead. Lace happens to be another one of my weaknesses and since this particular top is cut like a tee, it's super easy to wear and looks great with absolutely everything from skirts and boyfriend jeans to pretty tough-looking leather shorts:)

Wearing what is definitely one of my favorite dresses of all time! Love everything about it: the cut, the print and of course the color combo. You know how I feel about bright colors... :) I don't really know why, but I feel like I'm on a vacation every time I wear it. Which is pretty much everyday, since I've been wearing it non-stop ever since I got it a few days ago. And I don't know about you, but feeling like you're on vacation is always great in my book:)

Completely obsessed with this t-shirt right now. Initially, I bought to wear on 4th of July, but simply couldn't resist the urge taking it out for a walk a bit early. I don't know about you guys, but personally, I have a very difficult time not wearing new items as soon as I get them:) I am only human, after all:)

This bag is also something of an obsession, I got it just a few days ago and it's been my constant companion ever since. I love a big roomy tote, and if it happens to be adorned with hand-aplied beading and mirrors, count me in! I tried the clutch thing, but eventually, I always go back to a bigger bag. I think, I just like having all my stuff with me a little too much. I mean, I probably don't need to have both hairbrushes, five lip glasses and 3 day-planners with me all the time, but simply knowing that I do, is really comforting:)

Lastly, I am super excited to share details about Piaget "La Vie En Rose" contest. From June 17-30, follow Piaget on Pinterest by CLICKING HERE, create a Pinterest board named "La Vie En Rose", pin your favorite "La Vie En Rose" inspirations to your new board and tag each image with #PiagetRose, for a chance to win 1 of 4 gorgeous Piaget rose bracelets! Wanted to share a few pics from our day in Paradise Cove in Malibu, one of our all-time favorite beach destinations. Aside from being absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, a big reason why Emil and I like Paradise Cove so much are of course the private cabanas, super comfy beach beds, and of course the Beach Cafe! The only restaurant in Malibu located right on the sand, if you like seafood as much as we do, you should definitely check this place out. Our absolute favorites are the Macadamia Coconut Shrimp and Ice cream CocoLada, a delicious cocktail served in a real coconut shell, decorated with an orchid and a tiny umbrella.

I love a fun skirt suit for Summer, and this one is definitely my favorite at the moment. Completely obsessed with the pale floral print and bright coral inserts. I had a Bailey44 event and dinner with my girls Kelly and Wendy, so I wanted to wear something that would look equally great for day-time cocktails and girls night out. Speaking of dinner, we decided to go to "Little Next Door" and I am so thankful to Wendy and Kelly for introducing me to this place and moroccan food in general! Everything was beyond delicious and I am still dreaming about their Creme Brûlée! So, definitely check it out if you get the chance!:)

Based on the number of recent appearances (see here& here), I guess it's pretty obvious I am a little obsessed with this peplum from Torn by Ronny Kobo. Aside from my weakness for white & cream tops and peplum in general, I love how versatile it is. It really isn't easy to find something that looks equally great with casual and tailored pieces, but in my opinion this one definitely does.

Today's look is all about playing with volume and of course the black and white color combo. Yet, I simply couldn't resist adding a bit of red via accessories to complete this look. For me, combining red with black & white helps to freshen and brighten things up a bit! How about you guys, how do you like to wear black and white?

Don't really know what it is about a full-on armparty but I feel completely naked without it. I simply love layering jewelry, especially bracelets and rings. Typically, I am absolutely ok with mixing metals, in fact, I think sometimes, combining different textures, colors and metals creates a bolder, more interesting effect. I also love mixing styles, for example, delicate pieces look great combined together with either edgy or super bold ones. My only rule, is to limit the drama to bracelets & rings and keep the rest of my jewelry to a minimum so I don't look like a Christmas Tree:) What about you guys, how do you feel about layering jewelry?

Hey Everyone,

This time, I am super excited to team up with ShopSense to share one of my favorite "best kept secret" spots in LA. I know, I mentioned Malibu Country Mart on my blog before, but I never really talked about why I love it so much.

Emil and I discovered it a few years ago, and we've been coming here religiously ever since. A big fan of Malibu in general, for me, it's really the best place to go to on a warm Summer day. Normally, we like to come here early in the morning and spend the whole day either walking around or just lounging in the Lumber Yard, soaking in the sunshine, if we are feeling especially lazy. Another reason why Emil and I go to Malibu Country Mart so much is of course the dinning experience, we love munching on fresh macaroons from ChocolateBox cafe or stuffing our faces with the best-tasting shrimp tacos from Cafe Habana. Seriously, they are absolutely amazing! I am actually getting hungry just thinking about them:)

Finally, we like to end our day catching a movie at the Malibu Cinemas, a tiny but super cozy movie theater. If you are not a big fan of crowds or long lines, you will definitely love this one!

What about you guys, what's your favorite place to spend a lazy Summer day?

Happy 4th of July, Everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day! Emil and I are going to drive up to Newport Beach and spend the day with a bunch of our friends. We are thinking of maybe doing a bit of barbecuing, but mainly working on our tans. Do you guys have any special plans for today?

Couldn't resist the temptation of showing off my newest find... I got this dress just a few days ago and simply can't get over how absolutely perfect it is! I love the combination of simple, easy-to-wear shape and pretty floral print with sheer detailing. I don't know about you guys, but I am definitely crushing on tee-like dresses at the moment:)

So, the shoeaholic in me is definitely having a huge come-back moment. Don't really know what it is, but I can't seem to stop adding more and more shoes to my collection. Officially, I have great reasons to justify every purchase, I mean, I simply can't live without a great pair of black heels, or red, and also something strappy and neutral.... Ok, so maybe I don't have great reason, but they are at least good enough:) The black and white perfection I am wearing in this post, is my latest acquisition. Striking, with a slightly sporty appeal, I love the combination of black and white, perforated leather and curved heel. And I feel like "I REALLY, REALLY LIKE THEM... ", is a great reason to buy shoes, don't you?:)

On a side note, I got a few questions about my tan, so I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the products I normally use. In all the fairness, I did get some sun but mostly, my tan results from applying St. Tropez tanning mousse every night before bed. My trick is to apply tanning products on freshly exfoliated skin to avoid streaking. You can pretty much use any body scarab you like but my personal favorite is Fresh brown sugar body polish. Next morning, I always apply a super moisturizing body cream, to ensure my tan lasts longer.

Hey Everyone,

I am yet again excited to partner up with ShopSense to share one of my "best kept secret" spots in LA. Last time I talked about Malibu Country Mart (see here), this time, I want to take you on a trip to Catalina Island.

Located just southwest of Los Angeles, the best way to reach Catalina Island is by a ferry boat, which takes about an hour. Emil and I love boat rides, so taking the ferry is definitely part of the attraction. Normally, we catch the boat early in the morning and spend the entire day on the Island.

Once you get there, I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around. Aside from the obvious fun factor, it gives you a chance to explore the Island and see more than a few breathtaking views! So don't forget you camera!:) Since Emil and I are complete foodies, we never pass up an opportunity to visit a local restaurant or two:) Catalina Island has really good sea food places, so, if you are a fan like we are, I definitely recommend trying it out.

But I think one of the main reasons we keep coming back to Catalina, is of course the beach. I am sure by now, you all know we are complete and total beach bums and swimming and working on our tans is our favorite thing to do! Catalina has a few absolutely beautiful beaches, so finding the one you like, is a no brainer!

How about you guys, what is your favorite Summer place?
