COLD SHOULDER IN PARIS

Though I am always happy to be in Paris, I feel that this year we were particularly lucky because the weather was absolutely beautiful for the entire duration of our stay! Sunny and warm, it was precisely the kind of weather I always dream of when I go to Paris because it gives me a chance to indulge in all my guilty pleasures, like catching some sunshine while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate at the corner cafe and walking around Paris, exploring! :) October in Paris does tend to be a bit unpredictable. I remember last year, I was quite chilly while wearing sweaters& coats, so I can't begin to tell you what I delight it was to be able to go bare-leg & open shoulder without freezing!:)

Speaking of open shoulders, I've always had a soft spot for cute sweaters, but this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini striped number is on another level! Love at first sight, I still can't decide what it is I love most about it, the  chic one-shoulder silhouette, the cascading ruffle, or the striking red & black color combo! But whatever it is, the end result is one of the most statement-making sweaters I've ever come across, which also pairs beautifully with pretty much anything, from mini skirts to denim! Basically, the possibilities of wearing it are absolutely infinite, and of course you know how much I love versatile pieces:)!

I've always believed that accessories make the outfit! They can transform an ordinary outfit into an extraordinary one, and for me, the one accessory that plays the most important part in this transformation is jewelry. Why is jewelry so important to me? Well, I always felt that jewelry and clothing work together to define the look and the feel of an outfit, creating that perfect finishing touch that gives your ensemble polish and sophistication. In fact, jewelry is such an integral part of my sartorial identity, it is often a starting point when I style a look, and today's outfit is a great example of that.

The inspiration behind this particular look was the beautiful jewelry from David Yurman's Stax Collection. From the moment I saw it, I fell in love with how classic yet decidedly contemporary it is and also because I felt that each and every piece was incredibly delicate, feminine, modern and polished! So, when I began styling this outfit, I wanted it to reflect the look and the feel of the Stax Collection which is why I combined incredibly feminine pieces, like a slip dress and velvet pumps, with contemporary ones, like a trench coat and an edgy bag. Color also plays an important part when I style outfits. Something about the combination of steel gray, soft pink and black feels very modern at the moment and I love the way gray and black add a touch of strength to this otherwise very feminine shade of pink, which I felt was quite reminiscent of the way the Stax Collection combines delicate hand-set pavé diamonds with a contemporary elegant link chain.

This post was brought to you by David Yurman at Neiman Marcus and ShopStyle.

HERVÉ LÉGER :: LITTLE BLACK DRESS

Though I fully admit that thinking about Holiday dressing in October may seem a bit premature, I actually prefer to shop for Holiday dresses early. You see, there is absolutely nothing I hate more than running around trying to find something to wear last minute for important occasions and having options available ahead of time, gives me a peace of mind and makes me feel prepared in case an unexpected Holiday event pops up!

My first holiday dress find this year is this gorgeous Hervé Léger number I picked up from Saks Fifth Avenue recently. Though Saks has quite the ample selection of beautiful Hervé Léger dresses, this particular one caught my eye the moment I saw it! Aside from the fact that I love Hervé Léger dresses in general, and beautiful little black dresses are always at the top of my Holiday dressing list, I've always been a bit partial to a fit and flare dress. Fact that it also features a beautiful diamond trim which adds a little extra something to the look without being excessive and nude inserts definitely makes this dress one of my current LBD favorites!

To keep the main focus on the dress, I styled it with black, ankle wrap pumps and a cross body bag. Though, it would have definitely looked just as great paired with a clutch, I decided to go with a cross body option for a bag because I love combining very feminine pieces with a slightly edgier ones.

What about you guys, what are your Holiday dressing staples?

MY GO-TO LIP COLORS THIS FALL

If you read my blog on the regular, you probably know that lip color happens to be a huge obsession of mine! Aside from the fact that the right shade can really bring life to your face, I love the way you can transform your look just by playing with different shades of lipstick and take your make up from day, if you're opting for a soft nude, to a full on glamorous look, if you choose to go with a bold red for example!

Though I did wear quite a few matte lip colors in the past, this year I have a new-found appreciation for glossier shades. Aside from the fact that I love the dimension and fulness glossy lipsticks add to your lips, I have finally found a product that combines both - glossy finish and staying power of a lip stain. I first tried Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Liquid Rouge while I was in Paris during Fashion Week and absolutely loved it! The color selection is gorgeous, and this long-wear glossy stain creates a beautiful vinyl texture finish that stays on all day long! Naturally, I absolutely love that!

When it comes to favorite lip colors, I like to switch shades depending on a season. Summer time, I tend to gravitate towards a softer palette, but for Fall, I love to go a little bolder and brighter, and this year is no exception of course!

The first on my current favorites list is Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Liquid Rouge in Ruby Red. I love the way this bold red adds an instant dose of polish and glamour to your look! Pretty much my go-to evening shade at the moment, I usually pair it with an understated eye make up, lightly bronzed cheeks and strong brow.

The second shade I've been wearing obsessively lately is Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Liquid Rouge in Bright Lilac Pink. A perfect shade to wear everyday, this cool pink adds just the right amount of color to your face and really makes your make up pop! Personally, I love pairing it with rosy cheeks and grayish smoky-eyes!

Last, but certainly not least is Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Liquid Rouge in Red Brown. As you may already know, I love nude lip colors and this shade is unlike any other! Not too light or too too dark, it is the nude lip color I've been looking for for as long as I can remember! Just a few shades darker than my skin, this caramel-hued nude lipstick plays up my olive complexion and looks beyond gorgeous paired with bronzed cheeks and smoky eyes!

What about you guys, what lip shades will you be wearing this Fall?

P.S. For today's look, I used Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Fluid foundation in Medium Beige, Translucent Loose Powder, Bronzing Powder Duo in Bronze, Luminizing Face Enhancer in Golden Apricot, Perfect Lash Mascara in Black & Eye Color Quad #313.

Off-the-shoulder tops and I have a very special relationship... Of course by special relationship I mean that I am completely and utterly obsessed, and could probably wear off-the-shoulder tops ( another lovely option here& here ) for the rest of my life and be perfectly content! So, I am taking full advantage of the warm weather we're still enjoying in LA by wearing as many as I possibly can before it gets cooler! Though I have spotted a few off-the-shoulder jacket & coat options, so if all goes well, I may not have to part with them entirely even during fall & winter! So, I'm afraid this particular neck line may remain a staple on this blog a while longer, hope you don't mind! :)

Good morning, Everyone! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a previously unpublished outfit I wore during Paris Fashion Week.

This particular look is really a combination of all my current favorites. I am absolutely obsessed with these IsabelMarant Etoile leather pants at the moment. Perfect for pairing with ankle boots, I absolutely love the slightly loose-fitting, casual feel! For today's look, I opted to wear them with another favorite - Isabel Marant tweed coat. Aside from the fact that I am always in love with everything Isabel Marant does and boyfriend-fitting jackets happen to be my particular weakness, the reason I can't stop wearing this particular one is because I absolutely adore the unstructured, oversized fit! So good layered over blouses and sweaters, to me, it's the perfect everyday coat which just happens to be both - incredibly striking and comfortable! And in my book, that's always a winning combination!

I absolutely adore discovering new brands; it inspires me and makes styling outfits that much more exciting and interesting and of course Paris Fashion Week just happens to be a perfect time to explore various designers and find new favorites.

As I was preparing for Paris Fashion Week just about a month ago, I got an invitation to come in and preview Magda Butrym’s collection. After learning a bit more about the designer and pieces she has created, I thought to myself that I absolutely cannot leave Paris without stopping by!

On my last day in Paris I came into the showroom and was completely stunned at how beautiful every piece was! I was looking through every hanger, one by one, and was falling more and more in love. I remember trying a couple of leather skirts that I still cannot get out of my head, they were just so unique and stylish and nothing like I had ever seen before.

When I got back to Los Angeles, I could not wait to get my hands on some pieces and style them. In today’s post, I am wearing a gorgeous two-piece crochet set. Although having featured two-piece sets before, this one definitely takes the cake! I mean how awesome is the crochet pattern and black lace-up detailing throughout? I am obsessed! I paired the set with open-toe, lace-up booties to give this look a more causal, edgy vibe. Yet, as great as this top and skirt look together, what I love about two-piece sets so much is the fact that they can be styled in a multitude of ways! The top for example, looks just as relevant paired with denim and structured blazers, and the skirt works great with leather toppers and studded boots! Love that!

Good morning, Everyone! As you can see, I am back to wearing my favorite color! I guess, I just can't stay away from blue for too long! I wore this gorgeous coat to Paul & Joe show in Paris and I must admit, out of all the blue coats that currently live in my closet, this one is definitely a favorite, and not just because of the color! Sure, I love this vibrant shade of aquamarine, but I also absolutely adore the length and the fit, as well as the double-breasted button fastening. So cozy, yet oh-so-very-chic at the same time! Basically, it's perfect in every way, so naturally I am obsessed!

Hello everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend so far! Lately, I've spend quite a bit of time talking about my fall essentials, so forgive me if I keep repeating myself, but I would like to take this opportunity to add one more fall must-have to my already extensive list!

Don't know how I haven't mentioned them yet, since a great pair of leather pants is always at the top of my fall shopping list, but I seriously can't imagine my fall wardrobe without them! First, they pair well with everything, from dressy pieces to casual. Secondly, leather pants add that beautiful touch of texture to a look and finally, if you like a bit of edge and rock-and-roll vibe, then leather pants are definitely the way to go!

Yet, as it is with most things, not all leather pants are created equal and that elusive perfect pair is not always easy to find! For me, fit is key and a good pair of leather pants should fit like a glove but shouldn't feel constricting in any way! I know, this seems like a lot, but considering I practically live in them all fall and winter, I don't think it's too much to ask for:) So, after searching for some time, I came across these beauties from IRO. Aside from the way they fit, I am a bit obsessed with the snap detailing on the side but I think the most important reason why I like them so much, is because they also happen to be super comfortable! Basically they are that elusive pair that combines perfect fit,  great details and comfort! Naturally, I couldn't ask for more!

I always believed in the power of accessories, which is probably why, most of the time, accessories are the inspiration behind my outfits. Though many people add accessories to complete a look, I rather like to reverse the process and start by choosing an accessory, and then building an outfit around it.

Why are accessories so important in my opinion? Well, I think it's because accessories are  often  the focal point of a look, they are the finishing touch that gives an outfit it's look and feel, and finally accessories can easily make or break a look. You can have the most perfect jacket, skirt, or pair of jeans, but paired with wrong accessories, the look just won’t have the same appeal. However, the right kind of accessory, can elevate a look to a whole new level and transform a simple look into a stylish ensemble.

Today's look began with two new favorites from David Yurman's Stax Collection I picked up at Neiman Marcus recently. Because I am such a huge fan of David Yurman jewelry, I can never pass up on an opportunity to add a few more pieces to my ever-expending collection of David Yurman jewels and Neiman Marcus is usually my first stop because it has the most wonderful selection and exclusive pieces which are not available in other stores, like the Silver Ice Stax Collection pieces I am sporting in today's look. Available exclusively at Neiman Marcus, I feel in love with these pieces the moment I saw them! Sleek, sophisticated, and modern, I absolutely adore how versatile these pieces are. You can pair them with the simplest of looks, but they certainly go beautifully with more sophisticated pieces as well. When I began styling this particular outfit, I really wanted it to reflect contemporary elegance of these pieces, which is why I chose to combine effortless, classically-elegant pieces like a double-breasted coat and a top handle structured satchel bag with casual basics like boyfriend jeans and a simple cotton turtleneck.

What about you guys, do you also believe that accessories have the ultimate power?

FAVORITE FALL TOPPERS VIA GOODNIGHT MACAROON

As I was going through my fall topper collection recently recently, I realized that I definitely tend to wear some pieces more than others. And by more, I mean a lot more! This got me thinking, what are the pieces I tend to wear the most and why? The answer was quite simple really, I tend to go for comfortable pieces, that feel good on, make me feel good but most importantly, I like pieces that are versatile! Yes, yes, here comes that word again, but it makes perfect sense if you think about it. Highly embellished, brightly-colored or patterned numbers are great and I absolutely love them, yet I also think I tend to reserve them for special occasions and instead live in pieces I can re-style for a number of different scenarios. So, without further ado, here is my "I can't imagine Fall without these toppers" list:

Cozy, oversized knit: I seriously cannot imagine talking about fall/winter staples without mentioning an oversized sweater! A perfect topper to pair with jeans and sneakers, yet equally relevant dressed up with some tailored slacks and heels. Currently, I am a little more than obsessed with the perfection-of-a-sweater I am sporting in today's post! Aside from the fact that I absolutely adore blush pink because it pairs so well with pretty much every color imaginable, I always had a bit of a soft spot for chunky knits and this one just happens to be a perfect combination of everything I could hope for in a sweater - color, texture and silhouette!

Utility Jacket: I love utility jackets because they are incredibly comfortable and stylish! They work great paired with fall staples like jeans and flat boots for that casual, off-duty look, yet they also look great with slightly rock-and-roll inspired pieces like leather pants and studded boots. Basically, the possibilities of wearing them are absolutely endless, and of course I love that! Today's structured utility jacket is my latest find and current obsession! Love the cinched waist because it creates such a feminine silhouette, but I am also a huge fan of this particular shade of military green because it looks so great paired with anything black and white or denim!

Structured tweed blazer: The one topper you can wear absolutely everywhere and with everything, tweed blazers work equally well at the office, paired with denim and casual footwear for day or dressed up with tailored bottoms and heels for night! The one I am wearing in today's post, is my absolute favorite at the moment! Aside from the fact that I love the classic combination of black and white, this particular blazer has all those special details I always look for in abundance! From stylish buttons, to frayed edges, to the beautiful melange fabric!

There are many reasons I love fall, but for a shoeaholic like me, fall means that I finally get to go boot shopping again, and honestly, if I could, I'd probably wear boots year-round, all day, every day and with everything! My first score of the season? These gorgeous over the knee boots from Olgana Paris!

Since over-the-knee boots happen to be a particular obsession of mine, I just couldn't resist adding this pair to my collection! Aside from being particularly comfortable to wear, what attracted me to them in the first place, was the pointed toe, which just happens to be so relevant this season, and also the beautiful military detailing in the back. Another perk? They pair beautifully with just about everything from sweater dresses, to skinny denim to anything mid-length like skirts and coats! So, basically there is absolutely no wrong way of wearing them and of course you know how much I love that!

There are a few family traditions I look forward to every year, and our annual road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco is definitely one of my favorite! For starters, the drive is absolutely beautiful, and we make sure to make stops at all our favorite places along the way, like Santa Barbara and Cambria for example, but most importantly, while LA still feels very summery at the moment, Carmel, Big Sur and San Francisco offer a rare glimpse of fall in California!

Though normally, as I have mentioned earlier, we take our time getting there making multiple stops on the way, this time around we drove straight to Carmel because we were so eager to get back to one of our favorite places in the world - Carmel Valley Ranch. We discovered it by a complete accident a few years ago, and it's become a very special place to us since.

Pretty as a post card, we absolutely love that it offers a variety of activities from hiking and biking to tennis and horse-riding. Yet we also appreciate the fact that Carmel Valley Ranch is one of the best places to take a day to simply lounge around, enjoy a warm cup of coffee or a glass of Rosé and get away from all the hustle and bustle! Personally, I love nothing more than to spend a few hours on a daybed swing, catching up on my reading or simply admiring the beautiful views of Santa Lucia mountains!

Lastly, and this one is of most importance, because you will never find 3 bigger foodies than Emil, Ninel and me, we love the dining experience! Our particular favorite - the Charcuterie plate at the Lodge restaurant, although I must admit, the nightly s'mores experience isn't half bad either!

Second stop on our annual family road trip was the beautiful town of Carmel by the Sea! Though we've been here a few times before, it never fails to impress us in some new way, and always appears just as picturesque and charming as ever!

We started off by exploring the place a bit, visiting some of our old favorites, like vintage stores and coffee shops, but also discovering a few new gems like the La Bicyclette, a cute french-italian restaurant where we stopped for dinner and were most impressed with their hand-crafted, locally-sourced menu! Our personal favorite - Risotto Verde and Roast Baby Beets salad, which was so delicious we've ordered seconds!

Though we haven't been back in LA for long, I must admit we already miss Carmel terribly, which is probably why we've spend the entire morning planning our next visit! I guess it's just one of those places for us, we never grow tired of it, and always wait for our next visit with the most eager anticipation!

PINK CRUSH

Fall color palette is usually all about darker, richer hues like burgundy, chocolate brown, navy and of course the classic black. But what is so different this season, is that we are seeing quite a bit of brighter colors, like mustard yellow for example, but also a few softer shades like pink. Personally, I couldn't be happier because aside from the fact that this lovely shade of grayish-pink happens to be a particular favorite of mine, I must admit, I love it when I can inject a bit of color into my fall/winter wardrobe.

Another reason pink is a favorite at the moment, is because it is incredibly easy to wear. You may remember I recently wore a beautiful soft-pink trench coat, which pairs so well with anything cream, black or gray, but another way you can introduce pink into your wardrobe is via accessories.

So without further ado, I'd like to introduce 2 of my latest obsessions thanks to Coltorti BoutiqueLANVIN Smal box Jiji bag & VALENTINO Ballet Forever Velvet ankle-wrap sandals. When Coltorti first reached out suggesting we partner on a post showcasing a few of my favorite fall trends, I must admit, I was immediately struck by their immaculately curated collection of hard to find, must-have pieces and also the variety of this season's most coveted brands. So naturally, choosing which trends and pieces to showcase, was not an easy decision indeed, but in the end, I kept coming back to this beautiful pink duo!

LANVIN Smal box Jiji bag - I've always had a soft spot for structured mini bags, but what makes this particular one so special, is the studded guitar-strap handle which just happens to be a major trend this season. Another reason is versatility of course, the detachable strap makes it a perfect bag to wear cross-body during the day or hand-held at night! And of course you know how much I appreciate it when I can wear pieces in multiple ways!

VALENTINO Ballet Forever Velvet ankle-wrap sandals - Velvet is a major trend this season, and pink velvet happens to be a particular weakness of mine! Love these heels because you can wear them during the day, paired with some raw-hem denim and a slouchy topper, or for night, with a slinky slip dress or pleated midi skirt! Basically, the possibilities are infinite, and you know how I feel about that!:)

The Holiday Season is officially upon us! It kind of sneaks up on you doesn't it? One day you are all dressed up for Halloween and the next, Holiday decorations are everywhere, along with endless shopping lists, mall runs, and Holiday parties!

Speaking of Holiday parties, I think what I love about this time of the year the most is the festive spirit of the season! Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of parties in general, but there is something special about Holidays that make all the gatherings even more joyful and brilliant than usual! Another favorite part of the Holidays is dressing up of course and if you've been reading my blog for a while, you may already know that when it comes to Holiday dressing my strategy is simple - start shopping early and choose versatile pieces you can style and re-style in multiple ways. To illustrate my strategy in action, I've partnered with Express, to showcase one of my Holiday dressing staples - a little black dress.

Take the beautiful velvet number from Express I am sporting in today's post for example. A classic little black dress never goes out of style, but the reason why I love this particular one is the luxurious velvet fabric. When it comes to fall 2016 trends, velvet ranks among some of the most important ones to incorporate into your wardrobe. Aside from the fact that it is simply a pleasure to wear, velvet elevates even the simplest of pieces and brings a level of sophistication to every type of look from dressed up to casual. Another reason why I chose this dress is because it happens to be one of those pieces that can be easily restyled with different accessories, so you can wear it again and again.

On this particular occasion, I wore this dress to an office party Emil and I attended recently. Though I fully admit that dressing for an office party can be a bit of a challenge because finding the right balance between fun and festive, yet still professional can be tricky, I believe the key is opting for a classic piece with just a bit of flare. Though the neckline here is definitely a bit more open, the longer length, covered up shoulders and back, and classic velvet, create a perfect balance between sexy and sophisticated.

Finishing touch - dark lips, which is another major trend we're seeing on the runways this season. To create this look, I used Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in Napa Vineyard and added two coats of Express lip gloss in Flirty Burgundy. A little trick I use when opting for a darker lip shade is keeping the rest of my make up fairly simple, so I skipped blush and added just a bit of bronzer to the cheekbone area and went with a simple cat-eye liner and strong brow.

Thank you Express for partnering with me on this post.

BUNDLE BABY IN BIG SUR

Third stop on our annual road trip was Big Sur. Though we didn't initially plan on going there, we got up one morning and developed a sudden craving for the yummiest chocolate peanut butter dessert we had at the Post Ranch Inn restaurant last time we were in Big Sur, and decided that it was definitely worth the 50 minute drive! This may sound a bit insane, but honestly, the drive is quite lovely because it takes you along the beautiful California coast line and we always make sure to make plenty of stops to enjoy the beautiful scenery and of course to take a few pics!:)

Speaking of Post Ranch Inn, I suppose because Emil, Ninel and I are such huge foodies, most of our trips involve discovering new dining destinations or revisiting old favorites. Sierra Mar at the Post Ranch Inn is definitely the latter, we found this gorgeous restaurant a few years ago, and it's become a must every time we find ourselves in Big Sur. Aside from the food, which is absolutely delicious, for me, ambiance plays an equally important part and the reason Sierra Mar is such a special place is because it offers one of the most beautiful views of the coast line I have ever seen! So, if you ever visit Big Sur, I definitely suggest making a stop there for dinner or lunch! Our favorite guilty pleasure is enjoying a glass of Rosé while admiring the sea views in the most beautiful setting imaginable!

BEAUTY ON THE GO :: HOLIDAY EDITION

Though I must admit, I find it hard to believe for it still feels like Summer in LA, the Holiday season is finally upon us! Almost two whole months of parties, gift-giving and gift-shopping, beautiful decorations, festive music and all the wonderful craziness that comes with the Holidays! Personally, I couldn't be more excited because I've always loved this time of the year, and no matter how old I get, I wait for it with equal measure of happiness and anticipation.

Yet, as much as I long for Holiday season, our already pretty hectic schedule seems to get even more action-packed and crazy, which often means that I leave home early in the morning and spend the entire day running around from meetings, to shoots, to parties, and dinner dates. At first, I found this schedule a bit difficult to adjust to, but eventually, I've gotten used to changing in my car several times a day ( yes, I've done that ) because I don't always have time to go back home and showing up to a business meeting in an evening gown because I have a cocktail party to go to later, is definitely not an option:)! But most importantly, I've made a few changes to my make up routine which allow me to quickly touch-up or build on my make up look on the go! The name of my Holiday little helper is Chubby Sampler Set by Clinique. The set contains 4 Chubby Stick products for eyes, lips and cheeks that are so easy to use, I can literally apply them anywhere, like the backseat of my car using my phone as a mirror, for example!

Which brings me to the point of this story, the other day as I was doing a few touch-ups in the backseat of my car before a meeting, I thought that it would be fun to shoot a story of what my day is really like during Holiday season and show you guys why I do not leave my house without Clinique's Chubby Sampler Set during this time of the year!

MORNING:
Mornings are my sanctuary! I like to get up really early just so that I could have some time to myself to enjoy a cup of coffee while watching something on Netflix! I am usually in a rush to get somewhere during the day, so I really value a bit of peace and quiet in the morning before I face the day. Next, I go hiking or biking, or on rare occasions, if the weather is misbehaving I stay in and do some yoga at home. After I come back from my hiking or biking session, I shower, change and if I have time before our morning staff meeting where we discuss what's to be done today, I go on my coffee run to a cute coffee shop near by. Usually, my morning make up is quite minimal and consists of a bit of tinted moisturizer, mascara and lip gloss or lipstick.

AFTERNOON:
Early afternoons are usually reserved for meetings. On this particular day, our morning staff meeting ran late, so I didn't have a chance to do my make up before I left. Luckily, I arrived to my meeting a bit early, and had time to apply my cat-liner ( which I feel completely naked without ) and add another coat of Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Jumbo Jet. That's actually one of my favorite mascara application tricks. If you want to achieve a very dramatic lash look and layer your mascara, you need to wait before applying every additional coat. Usually I give it about 30 seconds between every coat, this way, you get the most beautiful plump lashes without the clump!

Next, my photographer and I headed to downtown LA for a photoshoot. Though my day-time look usually tends to be pretty simple ( mascara, liner, tinted moisturizer, bronzer and lipstick ), on this particular occasion, I wanted to play up my eyes, so I added some eye-shadow using Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Lots O'Latte. This particularly beautiful bronzy-nude, creamy shade is super lightweight and sheer, yet I love that I have an option of layering it if I want to achieve a more dramatic smoky-eye look.

EVENING:
After our shoot, Emil and I headed to a Holiday event. Since it was black-tie, I changed into a cocktail dress, and swapped my cross-body for a clutch, which brings me to another reason why I like Clinique's Chubby Sampler Set so much. During Holiday season, clutch bags are what I carry the most. Yet as much as I love clutch bags, they don't always leave you with ample space to bring all your  necessities with you, and since all of the Sampler Set products are conveniently sized to fit into my clutch bags I am a happy girl indeed! With my make up still fresh and intact from our shoot earlier, I simply added a bit of peachy glow to my cheeks using Chubby Stick Cheek Color Balm in Amp'd Up Apple. What I love about this particular one is the fact that it looks really natural on, yet creates a very healthy-looking glow which makes your face come to life!

Our final stop of the day, was a Holiday party which took place outdoors, so I swapped my cocktail dress for a silk slip and and an off the shoulder sweater. Though for day, I usually go for a fairly simple make-up, at night I opt for a much more pulled together and glamorous look. Typically, I choose one feature to play up, either my eyes or my lips. Generally speaking, I decide which one to accentuate based on my lip color, if I go for a brighter or darker lip color, I like to keep my eye make up simple, but if I'm wearing a softer, nude lip shade, I go a bit bolder with my eyeshadow. For today's look, I decided to play up my lip color, so I added 2 coats of Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Color in Chunky Cherry. What I love about this particular lip color is the fact that it is extremely moisturizing and since my lips tend to get dry easily, I love how soft and smooth they feel after the application. I also really love that this pretty pink shade has a beautiful subtle sheen, which works so well for evening occasions!

Overall, I would say that one of the biggest reasons I love the Chubby Sampler Set is because it is so easy to use on the go. Aside from the fact that all 4 products can be layered which means I can easily update my look from day to night by controlling intensity, what I especially like is the fact that I don't have to worry about brushes and compacts. All four, come in a convenient little stick, which I can easily use anywhere and anytime to get the look I need quickly! And I don't know about you guys, but with the Holiday craziness upon us, quickly and anytime is exactly what I am looking for when it comes to make-up!

SAN FRANCISCO STRIPES

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few images from the last stop on our road trip, which was San Francisco. Though we didn't get to spend as much time there as we would have hoped, it was still a very lovely visit! We walked around for a bit, exploring a few places we didn't have a chance to see on our previous visits, and also of course made stops at our old favorites like this cute coffee shop in Mission district, called Sightglass Coffee. Their coffee and pastries are absolutely delicious, so naturally, I can't imagine a trip to San Francisco without making a stop there! It's almost like a ritual at this point, whenever we go to SF, coffee and a nice flaky croissant at Sightglass is always our first stop!

P.S. I also have very exciting news to share with you guys! I am extremely honored to be nominated as the Best Luxury Influencer by The 2016 ShopStyle awards!
