Yeah, I am definitely having a ring moment... This morning, I finally got to organize my jewelry box and thought it would be nice to show all my favorites at once. What prompted this sudden urge to clean up, you may ask? Well, you see a few days ago, while having breakfast and scrolling down a list of blogs I follow on bloglovin', I came across a few jewelry posts. Beautifully organized jewelry boxes, trees and displays put my overflowing jewelry-storage arrangement to shame. I knew right there and then, something had to change. Oh, and I am planning to do a post about jewelry-storage once I am completely done organizing everything!

By the way, I find that  bloglovin' really is the most convenient way to keep an eye on all the blogs I follow and discover new ones. So definitely check them out, and perhaps even follow me by CLICKING HERE:)

Most of the rings I am wearing today come with a bit of a background story, which is probably why I am so attached to them. Whether a gift from my mom, or a random purchase on Venice beach while Emil and I were on our very first date, most of these are really little time capsule treasures from special moments in my life...

I would like to start by announcing the winner of AnthemWares International Giveaway! Congrats to Melissa Serje with winning Angel Jackson bag! Hope you love this awesome bag as much as I do!

Emil and I were running errands all day and I knew I was going to be on me feet a lot, so I decided to wear flats for a change. Not really much of a sacrifice, considering how cute these glitter slippers are. You know me, I like sparkly things! I don't know why, really, but they always cheer me up:) And since the weather has been so sad lately, I felt like I could definitely use some cheering up.

I don't normally complain about the weather, but I am really not a big fan of those gloomy, rainy and cold days. Who is, right? Well, apparently Emil is a huge fan. While I was complaining about lack of sun, he informed me that this is his favorite type of weather. Go figure, huh? Suppose frizzy hair and running mascara are not really much a concern for him.  Guess we are all different after all... Cause I would trade this for a warm sunny day in a heartbeat! Who's with me? :)

As much as I love my jeans and leather pants, I am a sucker for a great structured dress. This particular one being my current favorite. Love the exaggerated shoulder and side cut-outs! Since today was pretty much the first warm and sunny day in a while and Emil and I had a party to go to, I figured it was a perfect opportunity to take my new dress out for a walk!

The heels I'm wearing are probably hundred years old, ok, maybe not hundred but at least 2 years old... Basically an eternity in shoe years:) Originally borrowed from a friend, who is blessed with amazingly small feet and couldn't wear them because they were too big, these babies found their way into my closet and have been my favorites ever since. Combination of side buckles, double straps and comfort, really can you ask for anything else?:)

So excited and honored to team up with Armani Exchange for their new project #DressedFor. Since I am a hopeless romantic at heart, #DressedFor #Romance was a perfect fit. A huge fan of little black dresses, as soon as I spotted this A/X velvet tulip dress, I knew it was absolutely perfect. When it comes to LBDs, I always look for special details, such as interesting shapes or rich fabrics. So how could I resist the ultra rich velvet, side pockets and a full skirt, basically all of my favorite elements combined in the same dress:)

The decision to pair the dress with this burgundy coat came last minute. You see, the necklace I'm wearing was a last minute present from Emil, and I just love the way the color of coat brings out burgundy elements of the necklace. Suppose this surprise gift was a perfect touch to complete my romantic look, though I always have romance in my heart when my sweet boy is by my side... After five years together, I want to say how lucky I am to be with such a kind, wonderful and caring person. Thank you, for being you:)

If you read my blog on regular basis, you know what a big accessories fan I am. For me accessories, are an essential finishing touch that pull everything together and complete a look. My latest obsession is watches, which is why I am so excited to team up with Armani Exchange once again for their new project #DressedFor #Time, to showcase one of my favorite watches from their current collection.

I say one of my favorites, because believe me, it was not an easy decision to make. At the end, I chose this elegant snake embossed skinny watch because of it's sleek and simple design. I think it's definitely one of those pieces I am going to wear everyday, because it works so well with right about everything: from jeans to cocktails dresses. And you know how much I like pieces that can be styled in an infinite number of ways!

Do you remember that old Alanis Morissette song "Isn't it Ironic", especially that one line about "rain on your Wedding day..."? Ok, so it didn't rain on my Wedding day, but it did rain on my only day off in like 3 weeks. When I woke up and saw the dark & gloomy sky, for some reason it was the first thing that came to mind:) So, in an effort to save the day, I decided to engage in some retail therapy, i.e. finish up my Christmas shopping list.

Granted, going to an outdoor mall on a rainy day could have been problematic, but Americana at Brand  happens to be one of my favorite shopping places and I was also really excited to see all the Christmas decorations. I am such a kid at heart, I love Christmas trees, garlands and lights and of course good old Christmas music. I am pretty sure I know the words to most Christmas songs! Just ask Emil, I start singing Christmas songs in November, so by late December his head is spinning:)

Long story short, the day was completely saved and Emil and I ended up having a totally awesome time. So, who cares about bad wether, sometimes all you need to have a good time is great company, a hot cup of coffee and some serious shopping!

HOLIDAY MAKE UP IDEA - LAVENDER SMOKY EYES

"City Lights" Clear quartz over green onyx cocktail ring via Tacori | Rachel Pally chiffon dress - old { also loving this one& this one } | ASOS handcuff ditsy necklace& cross necklace | Zara Clutch

 Products I Used:

EYES: Lancome Color Design eye shadow palette  in "Lavender Grace", Sephora long lasting 12HR wear eye liner in "Navy/Black", Chanel Le Volume De Chanel mascara
LIPS:YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick in " Pink Coral"
CHEEKS: Bobbi Brown bronzing powder in "Golden Light"

One of my favorite holiday make up looks of all time is the smoky eye. A big change from my usual minimal approach, I think smoky eye look adds drama and helps to transition your make up from day to night. A big fan of the classic black or dark brown smoky eyes, sometimes I like to have a bit more fun and recreate this look using bright colors. Since, lavender happens to be my favorite color at the moment, lavender smoky eye look was an obvious choice. Now, even though it’s such a bright hue, it actually works great for any eye color. For me the key to a bright eye make up is blending, playing with lighter and darker shades and keeping the rest of the face neutral. Let the eyes be the focal point of your face.

To achieve this look I applied bright medium blue purple shade all over my upper eye lid, adding just a bit of light pink purple closer to the corner of the eye. Next, I applied matte deep gray to the crease to add dimension and dept. Finally, I applied deep purple shade along upper lash line and crease extending slightly beyond the outer corner to visually elongate the eye. I finished the look with 2 coats of volumizing mascara and  dark navy eyeliner for my beloved cat eye look.

To balance the bright eyes, I kept then rest of look fairly neutral. Adding just a bit of bronzing powder to my cheeks and bridge of the nose and a coat of pink/ coral lipstick.

P.S. I tried a lot of bronzing powders before and for me the best ones are matte. I find that matte bronzers look a lot more natural. And if you really want sparkle you can always add some later to very strategic places rather than having an all-over sparkly face:)

I don't really know what it is about pastel-colored suits that makes me so weak. Maybe I have a soft spot for pieces with masculine and feminine traits, but I sure can't resist them, especially ones in such pretty shade of lavender. I told you guys, I am having a purple, burgundy, lavender moment:)

Emil and I had a bunch of meetings and errands to run yesterday and since the weather in LA continues to be absolutely miserable, i.e. super-cold, cloudy and gray, I thought what a perfect opportunity to take my new suit out for a walk. I like to wear as much color on days like this as possible, seems counterintuitive but it sure helps combat those dark-rainy-day blues.

Mind you with Christmas and New Years right around the corner my mood doesn't really need any help:) I love Winter Holidays! Beautiful Christmas trees, wrapping presents, sound of jingle bells and egg nog, it pretty much doesn't get better than that! I just hope it doesn't rain this year like it did the year before! Cause I'm dreaming of white Christmas, and if not white, at least dry:)

Hey Everyone,

So excited to team up with ever so amazing True Religion to showcase some of my favorite pieces from their current collection! After some consideration, I mean what do you do when you like, um... everything, I decided on these awesome suede pants and gray shawl cardigan. Super soft, warm and fuzzy sweaters are definitely my weakness... I practically live in them during the cooler Winter months. And how cute is the little flag detail on the sleeve?!

But I've been looking for a pair of cool suede pants for a while now, which is why I am totally digging the jean-like cut and of course the stretch factor. Anyone who's ever owned a pair of non-stretch leather or suede pants will not exactly what I am talking about. Three words - suit of armor:) Luckily these ones are super soft and comfortable, which pretty much makes them my favorite pair of suede pants ever!

Got this sweater last night as an early Christmas present, so naturally I couldn't resist the urge to wear it right away. So warm and cozy and of course I love the pretty shade of mint! Big fan of those day-to-night pieces:) Emil and I have a few quick errands to run this morning to finish up last minute additions to our Christmas shipping list. I know, can't believe I waited till last minute this year... Not me at all, normally I'm done wrapping presents in July:) Lesson learned for next year:) Later on we are heading to Emil's parents house for a very traditional Christmas dinner. Good food, great company and loads of presents, pretty much doesn't get any better!

My family and I also wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! I hope joy and happiness snow on you, may all your days be marry and may Santa be extra good to you:)!

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Thank you all very much for your wonderful Holidays wishes! Your kind words mean so much to me!

As I mentioned before Emil and I spent Christmas with his parents and sister, whom I absolutely adore. They are by far the kindest, sweetest and funniest people I know and I love spending time with them. So, Christmas eve and day were an absolute blast! What did you guys do for Christmas?

Emil and I shot these pics at the Getty Center, where I have to admit we've been spending quite a bit of time here lately. I especially like to come here Winter time, because it's a little less crowded then it is during Summer. So, at the moment it's pretty much my favorite place to walk around, grab some lunch and to marvel at the latest exhibition. By the way, I recommend catching the "Florence at the Dawn of Renaissance" exhibition, if you are an art aficionado, you will  not be disappointed. Believe me!

With the Holiday craze pretty much behind us, Emil and I took a day to enjoy some shopping, dining and wondering around Beverly Hills. We haven't been here much in the post month and a half, so it was really wonderful to see all the beautiful Holiday Decorations.

With all the busyness leading up to Christmas I think, I forget to stop and take it all in, to take a moment to enjoy all the little things, to think of all the people I really care about and all the things I am thankful for... Guess sometimes all I really need is a beautiful, sunny day, a walk with my boo and a hot cup of coco to remind me just what Winter Holidays are really all about:)

First post of 2013, and I am already talking about shoes. Suppose it's befitting, considering what a huge shoe addict I am...

Picked these beauties up on my last trip to Malibu Country Mart. Funny, I've been hunting for this particular pair for a few months now. And I honestly given up all hope of finding them cause they are sold out in my size pretty much everywhere. But last Sunday, I walked into to Madison Los Angeles and there they were, just sitting on the shelf, last pair in my size... Seriously, last pair in the whole store!!! Guess it was fate:) So, here we are, together at last!

Wore this casual outfit on an impromptu shopping trip yesterday. It felt so nice to be out, now that the weather is back to sunny and warm. All the rain was making me seriously blue! I didn't really end up buying much, except for a few skin care goodies. I recently became pretty addicted to L'Occitane products, so I've been stocking up on my favorites.

Talk about favorite skin care products, this week I was lucky enough to be interviewed by FashionIndie and talk about Emil, my marriage, style and favorite beauty products amongst other things. You can check out the complete article HERE

Normally not a big fan of military greens, I fell in love with this jacket when I spotted it on my last trip to Zara. I think the studs did it for me more than anything else... I also gave in and got this oversized animal-print bag, mainly because I think it looks really cute with the jacket and secondly because I think it's such a versatile piece. I know, I am attempting to justify yet another bag purchase, but really, animal print bags work with anything, right? :)

The leather leggings/pants I am wearing are super old and super special, I got them about a year and a half ago and been wearing them pretty much non stop since. Looking at some of my old posts, I think they made a record number of appearances on this blog, see just a few here, here, here& here. We definitely had some special times together... Yeah, from New York Fashion Week to camping in Malibu, they were with me every step of the way, and it looks like our adventures continue:)
