If you follow me on instagram, you probably know that we just came back from the gorgeous Etéreo Resort in Riviera Maya and today, I wanted to share a few favorite moments from this very special trip. What I love about Auberge Resort Collection is that every property is completely unique and different, and yet no matter which property you choose, it is always an experience of ultimate luxury.
As I am writing this post, I am trying to pin point what it is exactly that we loved the most about the resort… Is it the location, the property itself, or is it the gorgeous white-sand beaches and the incredibly relaxing atmosphere? I think it is the combination of all of the above. Easily one of the most beautiful and stylish hotels I have ever stayed in, Etéreo looks and feels like a paradise. We loved the vibe of the resort (the calming color palette of neutral shades designed to enhance the beauty of nature which surrounds it is divine), the incredible white-sand beach and blue, blue waters of the Caribbean coastline, the unique relaxed atmosphere of the resort and the incredible cuisine inspired by the Mayan tradition.
Highlights & Special Recommendations:
Do make a dinner reservation at the Itzam (one of the many restaurants on the property). We had dinner there the first night and the meal and the experience were incredible. Our particular favorites were the Yuca Tostadas and the Striped Bass.
Do book a private cabana for a perfect day on the beach! We ended up spending most of our first day on the beach, and it was the most relaxing experience. I also highly recommend ordering some food and refreshments. The cocktail selection is particularly impressive. All of the drinks were incredibly refreshing and tasty.
Enjoy a perfect morning at the pool! We loved laying out on these comfortable day beds or cooling off on the loungers submerged in the infinity pool.
Have lunch at Che Che! We absolutely adored this outdoor restaurant! The food is of course incredible, but what we loved in particular is being able to enjoy the gorgeous views as you sit down for a fun meal.
