A recent stop by a CHANEL store had me swooning over their new makeup arrivals! Though sadly, they didn’t have the N1 DE CHANEL Red Camellia Revitalizing Foundation and the Red Camellia Revitalizing Lip and Cheek Balm – their newest launches (they are now available at ULTA if you’re looking), I did pick up a few other things I can’t wait to share with you guys!
The first thing that really called out my name was the CHANEL Ombre Première Laque Longwear Eyeshadow: a long-wearing liquid metallic eyeshadow. I don’t typically wear green eyeshadow, but I wanted to try something new and ended up loving this elegant green shade. BTW, if green is a bit too bold for you, it comes in a variety of stunning gold and taupe shades.
I also picked up the CHANEL Stylo Ombre Et Contour Eyeshadow Liner Khôl in a matching shade and I can’t say enough good things about this pencil. I am not a fan of hard pencils, but this one is very creamy and blends so well! I definitely had fun experimenting with different looks. Obviously, I tried my signature cat eye in this green but I also like the way it works as a matte shadow all over the upped lid. I just blend it with a brush a bit to get that chic defused look.
The next thing I picked up isn’t new to me, I’ve been wearing this lipstick for years and I don’t think I will ever love another nude lipstick quite like I love CHANEL Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Color in Adrienne. Did you know it’s the best selling lipstick color for CHANEL? Honestly, I am not surprised! It is such a gorgeous warm-toned medium-dark peach shade. Oh, and the finish is lovely! Creamy and moisturizing, it feels very comfortable on the lips yet it lasts. Typically, I pair it with my Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in Pillow Talk (this creates a slightly colder nude) or Pink Venus for a warmer kind of nude.
