Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite ways to wear and style biker shorts this Summer. Although I often wear biker shorts in a more casual way (paired with sneakers and a sweatshirts for example), I love dressing them up with a sharp blazer and heels.
Case in point, the outfit I am wearing in today’s post. First, I am a big fan of biker shorts and a blazer combination. The blazer adds a nice, tailored element to this look and also creates a bit of volume on top which helps to balance the form fitting bottom. Opting for heels instead of flats is a bit of a personal choice, because you can definite go with a pair of slides, but I happen to like the polish heels add to this otherwise rather casual combination.

Though you can definitely try this combo with pretty much any biker shorts style, I suggest opting for knit biker shorts. Personally, I like the way the knit fabric adds a slightly dressier feel to this casual item.
I like pairing biker shorts with voluminous tops in longer lengths. Whether you decide to pair your biker shorts with a blazer or a tunic-style shirt, go with something in a slightly oversized fit. This combo tends to give your outfit a more balanced proportion and looks particularly striking when paired with heels.
