Although every visit to MacArthur Place has been incredibly special, Spring in Sonoma County is particularly beautiful, which is why I highly recommend visiting the Wine Country during this time of the year.
To say that everything is in bloom, is to say nothing at all… Every little corner of the property is bursting with gorgeous florals, which I think, gives our favorite hotel a particularly fairytale-like and romantic appeal.
What is it that makes MacArthur Place such a special hotel to stay at? Truly it’s the combination of how gorgeous the property is, how serene, peaceful and relaxing you feel when you’re there, the proximity to amazing wineries to visit, and the amazing dining options the hotel provides!
We actually shot a special MacArthur Place food story which is coming up on the blog in the next few days, so stay tuned for that, but today I wanted to share a little bit more about the environment. The cute little hangout spots by the fire pits (there are several on the property) are probably one of our favorite places to visit in the evening. Normally, we grab a glass of wine, relax into a super comfy chair, and enjoy the peace and quiet while watching the fire.
We also love the farmhouse-style guest rooms which come equipped with a private patio, a sitting area and an outdoor shower! It’s just such a cool and relaxing spot to hang out in the morning (the light is so pretty), enjoy a big ol’ breakfast, and listen to the sound of the birds chirping…
