Today, I’m sharing my favorite skincare products of all time: the products I’ve used up completely (empties) and also the products I’m buying over and over again!
I’ve talked about the Baume de Rose Glowing Mask in this post, which was roughly a year ago, and my opinion of it has not changed! One of my favorite skincare empties, I love it because this moisturizing mask does it all, replenishes moisture, leaves my skin with a healthy glow, and does not make my skin feel oily or greasy.
The Rose Lip Conditioner has also made several appearances on this blog. I am currently on my 10th one, and I doubt I will ever use another lip conditioner again. To put it simply, if you have dry lips, try it! It’s life changing.
One of my newest favorite skincare empties is the Hydra Éclat Eye Contour. If you have dark circles and a tendency to have puffy eyes in the morning, give this product a try. For me the difference is rather drastic!
I hate that my skin is so prone to redness. I would love to go foundation free, but the redness on the sides of my cheeks just bothers me too much. What’s been making a huge difference is this Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm from Ren Skincare. This definitely makes the redness go down and it makes my skin feel much more calm and at peace.
The Eye Contour Mask is another one of my favorite skincare empties. I used to wear this eye mask on 13-hour flights and arrived looking pretty decent. Now, I use it when I look very tired or when the skin under my eyes feels especially dry. Downside is that it is very expensive, but this product lasts and unfortunately I haven’t found anything that works quite as well.
I din’t care about serums all that much until I tried Lancôme Absolute Overnight Anti Aging Serum… I’m on my 3rd bottle now, and I love it. I’m 39, so anti-aging benefits are definitely something I’m interested in. Using this serum on the regular, makes my skin look plumper, and my smile lines also seem to grow lighter.
Technically speaking not quite skincare empties yet, I’ve been using this trio every day for about a month and a half now, but I already know I will be buying these products again. This makes me look very rested and glowing even when I’m tired, not drinking enough water, or when the weather is particularly dry. I think the most notable difference is that your skin feels tighter, plump and hydrated (but not oily or greasy), which I love.
My holy grail skin care empties: Elemis Pro Collagen Day and Night Creams are the 2 products that will always be a part of my beauty routine. These 2 were initially sent to me by the brand. I wasn’t that familiar with the range, so I din’t know what to expect. These 2 products turned my dehydrated, overly-oily, post-peel skin into the best skin I have had in years. They are quite expensive, but a little goes a long way. I have sensitive skin, I tend to break out easily, but I’ve experience no negatives with this duo. No breakouts, no oiliness, just soft, plump, rested and hydrated skin!
