Today, I wanted to share our experience staying at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. This was our first time at the resort & we were absolutely astounded by the property, the service, the level of care & much more…

As I am writing this post, I struggle to find words that would truly express what an amazing experience this was… From the moment we arrived to the resort, we knew this was a very special place. The property, the hotel itself, the beautifully decorated rooms (equipped with infinity pools), the breathtaking views, the amazingly helpful hotel personal, the dining experience (a private dinner on the beach is something I highly recommend): it all seemed like a fairytale. Really! That was the feeling that lingered because everything was absolutely magical in every possible way.

We shot these images early in the morning on the second day of our stay because I’ve never seen a sunrise this beautiful before… Suffice to say, every sunrise was just as gorgeous, so if you don’t mind getting up a bit earlier to experience rainbow skies, I highly recommend it. Dinner at the beach is also something I highly recommend. The most magical and serene experience, we scheduled our dinner right around sunset, so we sipped our cocktails while looking at lavender skies, and admiring the gorgeous views of the ocean. Another amazing dining experience was dinner at the El Farallon, the best restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, known for their ocean-to-table menu. The food was absolutely delicious, and the views were incredible (the restaurant is carved in to the cliffs), so we listened to the sound of crushing waves below as we indulged in what is seriously the best sea food I have ever had.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to answer some of the questions about travel I’ve received. Our travel experience was incredibly easy and simple. The airport (Los Angeles International Airport) was not congested at all, in fact, I would say, this was probably the quickest and easiest flight we have ever taken. Once we got to Cabo, the hotel arranged for a private transportation directly to the resort, which was definitely very convenient. As far as safety measures are concerned, the resort is incredibly diligent about masks (masks are mandatory for all), unless you’e in your room, lounging on a chaise lounger by the pool, or sitting down at your table at the restaurant. Finally, every visitor returning to US must present a negative COVID test that is 72 hours old. Once again, the resort made this super simple. The testing is performed on site, so you don’t have to leave the property, costs $30 per person, and you receive your results the same day. Honestly, this was just incredibly easy. We simply scheduled our test with our concierge the day we arrived and voila, all done.

As far as your results are concerned, the resort provided a printed version of the test which we presented at the airport before we boarded our flight to US. I have received a lot of DM’s about this particular issue, so I hope this answers them, but if you have more, please put them in comments, I will be happy to answer!

Finally, I would like to take a moment to thank Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal and all the wonderful hotel personal we have met during our stay. This was our first trip in a year, and what a trip it really was… Thank you so much for making our stay absolutely magical. We are back in LA now, but mentally, we are still on that beach sipping margaritas and listening to the sound of the waves….
