You can style sweatpants to make them look chic! Today, I’m styling the same pair of sweatpants in 2 ways: dressy vs casual & sharing fave styling tips & tricks.
I’m obsessed with neutral-colored sweatpants: a super easy shade to style (it works great with just about any color), neutral palette adds a super chic feel to your look.

Let’s talk proportions. Sweatpants usually have some volume to them, and although you can definitely pair them with a slouchy or oversized top, if you want to add a bit of polish to your look, go for a more form-fitting top like the ones pictured below.
A super cute jacket style to pair with your casual sweatpants outfit is a Teddy coat! First, the textures look really good together, but also, Teddy coats have a rather casual appeal which is why they go so well with sporty-looking sweatpants. Finish the look with some cute sneakers, and voilà! You’re all done!

But what if you want to dress your sweatpants up a bit… Well, we are treating sweatpants like jeans these days, which is why it’s totally ok to pair them with blazers and heels! Go for a boyfriend-style, oversized blazer (nothing too fancy or too form-fitting) and a chunky-looking heel. Mules are super trendy this season and a rather perfect shoe style to pair with your sweats!
