I have a confession… I actually stopped tanning ages ago, but I love that just came back from a tropical vacation glow! So, sunless tanning products seemed like a perfect solution. After trying many, many, MANY bronzers, my main problem with them (other than the smell, the transfer on your clothing and sometimes streaky finish ) is that most of them make my skin very dry. Typically, I use self tanning products at night, and since you can’t really pair them with a moisturizer, I’d wake up with very dry, albeit tanned skin. Enter my new find – The Radiance Golden Glow Booster.
Why I love it? Because you actually add it to your moisturizer. Here’s how it works: take any moisturizer you like, personally I love the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream because it’s super rich and works wonders for dry skin, mix in 3-4 drops of the Radiance Golden Glow Booster and apply it all over. Next morning, you wake up with a beautiful golden skin that’s anything but dry! The tan builds and fades gradually, so it looks perfectly natural. My other tip: make sure to exfoliate your skin 1-2 a week to get rid of any dead skin cells and to provide a smooth surface for your tanning products. I’m obsessed with Glycolic Renewing Body Scrub because it makes your skin feel super smooth and helps with dulness and uneven texture.
I also use the Golden Glow Booster on my face. Once again, you can add it to your favorite face moisturizer. I switch from rich moisturizers to oil-free ones depending on what my skin needs at that particular moment, and the Golden Glow Booster works well with both.
Now let’s talk about Body Highlighters. I live for the 2 formulas below. The Body Lava Body Luminizer by Fenty Beauty provides the best impact by far! It’s truly outstanding. It goes on very evenly and provides a gorgeous all over glow. The formula is very rich and creamy and doesn’t feel dry at all, which is what I personally love, but if you’re looking for something lightweight, with minimal transfer than Shimmering Body Oil is your best bet. It gives you a gorgeous pearlescent glow (a bit more subtle than the Body Lava) but it dries fast with a non-greasy finish.
