Did you know that wearing pink can actually improve your mood and alleviate stress? Studies show that the color pink can reduce anxiety and induce a sense of calm!

Pink is the color of love, kindness and compassion. Known for its soothing qualities, pink can help reduce anxiety and make you feel more calm, serene and focused. This certainly rings true for me, for I have noticed that it always uplifts my mood whenever I wear it!

Ready to dress to feel just a bit happier? A cozy knit in this soothing, happy shade is sure to brighten your day! It’s funny, I never really realized the connection or the power of color therapy until I started reading about it. Yet, perhaps it’s something instinctual, because I always reach for something pink on dark, cloudy, rainy Fall days and somehow it works to brighten my mood!

I also love to incorporate this mood-boosting shade around my home. Since home is where my husband and I spend majority of our time these days, we definitely want it to feel like a place where we can relax, unwind, destress and feel calm. Introducing a few pink pieces here and there is such an easy way to add a but of happiness to your environment. I even switched to a pink coffee mug, I know it’s silly…, but something about drinking my morning cup of coffee out of my favorite pink mug makes me feel a little happier.

Whether it’s a mere coincidence or an unconscious choice, I noticed that a lot of my favorite beauty products come in pink packaging. Obviously skincare and makeup is something I reach for on daily basis, and it feels rather nice using products packaged in my favorite hue.

What about you guys? Have you noticed this connection with the color pink? I would love to know if you have!
