What are the best designer bag styles to invest in? Today, I’m talking about designer bags I’ve invested in that have a strong cost per wear.

Any bag from Bottega Veneta, really… but if I had to chose a favorite style, the Cassette chain bag as well as the Pouch are it! Sleek and sophisticated, these 2 bag styles will keep you looking stylish day & night and add an incredibly chic element to any look.

Though I love Saint Laurent bags in general because they are so edgy and boss babe, The Loulou is the bag style you will love to carry during the day. Great with jeans, great with tailored pieces, I often tuck in the chain strap and wear it as a giant clutch for night. Never failed me once and I love that. The Gucci 1955 Horsebit is the other bag style I wear a lot. A bit more polished and sophisticated, I often wear this style to the office with simple black pants and a white blouse. Though it’s definitely an attention getter in any color, personally, I love the 1955 Horsebit in white.

Prada Re-edition nylon bags are the bag style we all need in our lives! Super low maintenance, easy to wear and easy to style, this bag looks good with everything, and is the one, I reach for the most. I opted for the Re-edition 2005 Nylon bag in Cameo Beige because I wanted a good neutral bag and it did not disappoint. I wear it both ways: on a long cross body strap and as a shoulder bag on the chain strap, love the versatility, love the look, just love everything about it.

Now, what would a list of 5 be without 6, 7, 8? Sorry, just couldn’t resist adding a few more personal favorites. I have a weakness for sculptural bag styles, dramatic elements, and special details and below, are just some of the styles I am eyeing at the moment.
