Cut outs, asymmetry, shrugs, bolero jackets, cardigan sets and cropped lengths, these are just a few trends we’re seeing this season, and since all of them really resonate with me, I wanted to give you an idea of how to incorporate them into your wardrobe, but also showcase a couple of my favorite pieces.
I am obsessed with this hosiery top from Dion Lee! Aside from the fact that I love everything Dion Lee at the moment, this top is everything! The pieces are detachable, you can wear the turtleneck shrug with the cami it comes with, on it’s own over a different top, or under a dress like I did!
Since we’re talking about trends, I couldn’t really write this post without mentioning combat boots. They are still a big deal and actually pair really well with this season’s … well EVERYTHING! Just think of them as your universal wear with everything shoe style! Pretty dress? Cooler with combat boots! Jeans and coat? Definitely combat boots! Oh, but I couldn’t possibly wear them with dress pants… Oh but you can! Tuck them in and see what happens!
Seriously love all of these tops! Pair them with blue or black jeans, or wear them with dress pants and stiletto heels for an evening out. So sleek and cool.
A slightly softer approach to this trend are cardigan sets and bolero jackets paired with camisoles in a similar/same shade. Once again, I love this trend. Versatility aside (I mean wear them together or break them apart to pair with different items), I think this is just a very cozy, cute and wearable style. Easy to style, comfortable to wear, a sweater set like is a great update on a classic sweater style!
