I wanted to start this post by thanking you all for your sweet birthday wishes! Thank you so much for your kind words, your DMs, emails & comments! You make this day even more special for me every year, and of course this time around was no exception!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that Birthdays are always a family celebration for us. Every year we do something different but we always celebrate it together. It’s a tradition and I absolutely love it. Family has always been really important to me, and so I relish every chance to get together. This time around, we had a beach picnic in Santa Barbara which was the most amazing, surreal, beautiful and extraordinary experience. We got together at around 5pm, and so we were on the beach watching the sun set. Though sunsets in California are generally very beautiful, the one we had on that particular day was absolutely incredible! Pink skies, lavender water, gentle breeze, I mean it was a movie like experience that I will definitely always treasure…

Wanted to highlight a few bag options if you’re into this season’s minimalistic trend when it comes to accessories. Mango was always a great source for trendy accents, but this recent collection is just gorgeous! Linking to a few highlights below.

Another great source of cool accents is & Other Stories! If you’re looking for super  trendy jewelry, they are basically the place to go. This season is all about textured hoops & layered chunky chains and their selection is great, not to mention… wallet friendly!

ARTCLUB Le Cercle Cropped Ruffled Faille Top (also love this, this, and this one) | Skirt (also love this, this, and this one) | Bottega Veneta The Pouch Large Gathered Leather Clutch in White (also love this, this, and this one) | Alameda Turquesa Ariel Kitten Heel (also love these ones)
