Though it doesn’t feel like it just yet, Holiday season is upon us, which of course means it’s dress up time! Personally, I like to prep early and keep a few staples in case I get a last minute invite and stock up on pieces I can wear again and again. Below, are some of my absolute must-haves when it comes to Holiday glam.
Of all the dress styles, fits, and shapes, this has to be my favorite. Honestly this dress looks great on everyone! The length is super flattering (not too long or too short), the cinched waist helps create an hourglass shape and the puff sleeve combined with a strong shoulder adds a perfect touch of romantic elegance. Another reason why I like this dress style is versatility: add a different belt and roll up the sleeves and it looks totally different, throw a chic black blazer over it and once again, you have a entirely different look. Basically, the styling options are pretty endless and you know how I love that!
To me a clutch is a must. A good clutch bag is often what gives an outfit that dressed up look and feel. Normally, I go for something neutral (like classic black or silver) with a fun touch. A pair of pretty sandals or pumps is another must. Though I still love high heels, lately I’m all about kitten and lower heel options. Love that they are comfortable, love that they are super trendy at the moment, love how chic they look paired with shorter hemlines.
Instant touch go glam! A pair of statement earrings can dress an outfit up like nothing else, so I’m always on a lookout for a cute pair, and the ones below are definitely hitting the mark.
Red lips! When I have very little time to do my make up before an event but I need to look pulled together, red lips is what I go for. The right shade of red is rather magical and below are the ones I am loving right now. The particular one I am wearing in this post is my favorite by far, super creamy, I absolutely love this slightly cool shade of red because it is so insanely striking!
