Though I think that style is something that constantly evolves in general, on a personal level, it is my travel style that has transformed the most. Reason for this is because the more I travel, the more I learn! Comfort is key, and through a process of trial and error I finally figured out what actually works for me and what doesn’t.
Though I used to travel in jeans, I slowly graduated to wool or cashmere joggers. Why? Obviously a much more comfortable option, planes tend to be cold (and I mean very cold), and joggers keep me nice and cozy throughout the flight (love these ones right now and this set). Another travel staple is layers. Normally, I wear a top, a sweater(Bop Basics has amazing styles like this cashmere sweater or pretty pink scarf), and a jacket or a coat when I fly. This way, if it gets hot on the plane, I have an option of removing a layer or two.
Though I didn’t fully appreciate what a fantastic travel companion this Dior tote will make when I got it, I do now, which is why I never travel without it! Aside from the fact that it fits all my travel necessities including large headphones and a make up bag, it’s really easy to reach into and actually find stuff (you know you need to keep that passport and wallet handy when you travel).
Bye boots, bye any shoe style that is remotely uncomfortable, honestly, sneakers are the way to go! Easy to take off (and you know you will in that security line), comfortable to wear, comfortable to run around, and there are so many cute styles to choose from right now!
